    Milled Rival

The Darkside comes with 5 plates. Did you look?
  2. Helicoils are the same pitch as the intended thread, but, the diameter is not. Helicoils have dedicated taps to cut the proper thread for the insert. You need to check the insert for the screw that will be using the Helicoil.
  3. If you have the original springs and followers, try putting them back in before you do anything else.
  4. Add at the yellow line. There should not be an angle at that area.
  5. You posted what you wanted to see. Keep reading D5 21 and D5 22. Duplicating features that are on a fa ctory, mass produced slide available to the gen eral public is permitted. Cuts that are designed to specifically or significantly lighten the slide, such as holes, or slots, are ruled as competitive advantage and prohibited. 22 Prohibited modifications a nd features • External modifications or features such as weights or devices to control or reduce recoil (such as, but not limited to, thumb rests or components which could be used as such). • Slide racking devices are prohibited. • Cone and flanged barrels are n ot allowed. All barrels must have a bushing installed, regardless of barrel diameter. This does not apply to pistols having a barrel length of 4.20 inches or less. • Slide lightening, cuts, ports, or any milling deemed to provide a competitive advantage. 23
  6. Your zero distance probably was more of an issue than lack of magnification.
  7. Replace the pistol mag pouches with a quad pouch. It adds more room for other stuff.
  8. Come shoot the Az PCC match, 200 yards is not hard, if you are somewhat prepared.
  9. USPSA and other rule sets require 9mm as a minimum to be used in PCC. The OP has a 5.7 which won't make the cut.
  10. Micro welding is the current procedure to improve slide/frame fit. All the welding is done on the frame rails , then machined to a tight fit on the slide.
  11. The surface treatment makes it very hard, a carbide reamer might do it, but, may chip, destroying the tool. Cheap way out is fit the ammo to the barrel. My Rival runs SNS 125 RN at 1.130 with no problems.
  12. Not all round nose bullets are shaped the same. What brand are you using, what weight. Vague information will result in vague answers.
  13. Magazine capacity is limited by the box for Stealth. I'm guessing the desire is the use of 141 length mags.
  14. I'm using one from Smokey Mountain Concealment. Very well molded holster for the Rival.
  15. I replaced the stock trigger with the Gray Guns flat trigger. It is an improvement of the stock Legion trigger, which is good out of the box.
  16. Welcome the forum from a former Mass. resident. As Cuz asked, what part of the state are you located?
  17. Don, I've not seen the B&P slugs for a long time. Dillon hasn't had them. They were the most accurate slug in my M2. Fiocchi are the next best.
  18. Carlson is what I've been using in my M2 for years.
  19. My experience with the RDB system is good and not so good. The good is the recoil is good, you can run a standard AR trigger, and the normal buffer and spring. The not so good, is the ejection issues. To be honest, I've not done any real experimentation with ammo for it, I tend to run hot ammo. Also, CMMG has a tuning weight kit, which I will get to at some point. The conversion mags or kits for Pmags run well. Feeding has not been a factor at all.

    Canik mags

Midway was still showing in stock. I just ordered 2.
  21. The ejector springs are available. I bought 10 of them. Spring, Ejector, Mk10 | CMMG - AR 15 and AR 10 Builds and Parts
  22. Satern Single Shot Mag Follower AR-15 Polymer (midwayusa.com) You may have to modify it a bit to fit a PMag. Why not use a metal 20 rounder with the above follower?
  23. Prescott shoots USPSA on the 1st Saturday and 3rd Sunday. Abreviated USPSA-ish matches on the Thursdays before that. I'm not a steel shooter, but the club also has Steel Challenge matches and what they call Thursday Steel, which are not Steel Challenge stages. PRESCOTT ACTION SHOOTERS aka YAVAPAI RECREATION LEAGUE It's cooler than in the valley by about 15 to 20 degrees. I think it's warmer than Idaho though.
