  1. You will need: 1-2 (33) round Glock mags with some extensions....There are many options in the USA (TTI, Springer Precison, MBX, Taylor Freelance) 2-3 shorter Glock mags for classifiers 2-3 mag pouches The JP comes with a nice trigger, good Ambi safeties, decent charging handle, etc. You may change those out based on preference but it’s not necessary.
  2. Aric has an older 9mm IMM that I sold him and he has two new 9mm IMM coming from the factory. Pretty sure one just shipped this week.
  3. Hmmmm, I don’t recall saying that. I’m sure anything is possible with the green stuff.
  4. I know I was a bit purposefully dramatic but they are still making them.
  5. Now you are gonna call aren’t you? True or not in the method/delivery they are still building them.
  6. They know. They still build many 9mm IMM blasters. It’s a total marketing scheme and it works as people call and beg for them weekly and pay whatever it takes.
  7. I will always keep one around. The itch comes back too often and I learned that the hard way.
  8. I’ve tried it (Everglades) and there is some time to test more prior to the match but I won’t have time to switch my press over before the match but can shoot/test in my backyard. If I have an issue I’ll shoot limited with the Wildcat. I’m not scared
  9. Haha. I load my own ammo and have the components but want to order some ammo this week and have it at home when I get back from vacation so I can shoot a match right away. Thanks for all the help.
  10. What is the shipping like with the Everglades for a case?
  11. What do you all like if you can’t reload at the moment? I had a little sample pack of Everglades and Black Dot and liked the Everglades the best. I hear Atlanta Arms is nice too. I prefer to shoot 124g. Thoughts?
  12. Yep. Been out for a bit. I will be having one shipped back with one of my guns. Can’t wait to try it.
  13. I use a nitro fin on my limited blasters and a thumb rest on my open guns. The transition back and forth is easy.
  14. Neither. Cleaning on open gun is no different than any 2011. Just clean and lube.
  15. Lots of videos on YouTube for this. It’s not hard to take good care of them and to me a 2011 is less complicated than a Glock
  16. I had the same issue and it was the bushings.
  17. There are so many variables to this one. Long arms, short arms, high cheek weld, low cheek weld, etc. It all comes down to what you like and are comfortable with. Some stocks will be higher and will requires a riser on the optic. Some are very low and optic will mount flush. The stock adapter that you choose will also affect this. I like a stock that has a very fast connection to my shoulder and it can’t be slippery or small in that area. I also like a folding stock which allows for smaller storage. For me I went through a bunch and always end up going back to the Springer Precision Yugo adapter and Magpul Yugo/Zhukov stock. The combo is on their website and is very nice. It has an adjustable LOP but I just use it closed down all the way. Do you have an adapter yet? Start there and then see what stock you like or go to the Springer web site and check out the combo I mentioned. I wouldn’t use the Sig folder adapter as it takes up a lot of length but that is just me. Thordsen (sp) makes a nice one. A stock on the MPX can end up being like a carry holster for your favorite EDC. I ended up with a drawer full of them until I found the one that FITS ME. Good luck.
  18. Mark Isler hands down with Isler Custom They are rock solid and he makes them for multiple types of guns.
  19. I have an edge that will need the Pt Evo grip installed and then a full recoat of the whole thing. Black Nitride is my first choice but as the another posted a properly done cerakote will hold up
  20. I need to do this too with my suit and tie gun. My wife says my IWB antics are ruining my dress pants. I checked and she is right.
  21. I only run the Dawson mag catch/release in all my 2011 and have had zero issues with any of my guns with my MBX mags. Most of my guns are full custom but my Edge and Marauder also work flawlessly with this set up
  22. I was skeptical to do it at first and once I did it was easier and easier every time. The NicTaylor00 videos are what I been using and he makes it easy to understand Good Luck!
  23. I saw mention of the weak side safety getting flipped up while shooting. All the 1911/2011 guns I own I ride the top of the safety with my thumb which would make this impossible. Is this not the norm? Perhaps those with smaller hands can’t reach or grip that way. I’m curious as to who else does this.
