  1. They are not in the USA as far as I know.
  2. It was supposed to show yesterday but did not. Since it is Canada post I can't track it now that is in the USA. Maybe it will show today.
  3. Be careful. That site is super addictive. I feel like I put in an order weekly just to get some more stickers! Awesome service and a really good value for us. And his stuff just plain works! I must have twenty five items already.
  4. There was another previous thread about it I think. You are good to go! Enjoy the blaster
  5. Yes. That’s a good idea. Still puzzled as to why they would put such an inferior optic on their flagship gun. Makes no sense
  6. I started with an RTS2 and liked it but sold the gun. Next I tried a DPP and didn’t like the small window and horrible starburst effect when in the sun and turned up. The 510c was awesome in terms of window size but was big and bulky on top of the gun and the small dot killed it for me. I’ve now found the 6 moa Romeo3 Max and it’s my all time favorite. So much so I own 4. All this to say what you start with and what you end up with may not always be the same. It’s a journey as you navigate through options and you may not even know what you really want or like until you experience several.
  7. Does anyone own or has owned the grey KC long slide version that used or wanted a different optic than the Bushnell? The gun is calling me and I want to like it but having the slide cut for that optic is a challenge. I’d rather use an FTP Alpha 3, RTS2, or Romeo3 Max. It looks like a plate is not an option as the existing two holes in the slide are too close to the holes on the optic. There must be a way. Perhaps mill the slide? Help!

Not legal for what shooting purpose?
  9. Awesome! I keep checking tracking every hour it seems. haha
  10. I think it also depends on the depth of the internal cuts as I have seen full length tri topped slides crack and the manufacturer warrantied them due to the issue of the cuts inside being too deep. Most guns I’ve seen are tri topped partially to help prevent cracking but they will all crack at some point?
  11. Nailed it! I much prefer having Alma do my grips in SC and when doing so he can change the things you mentioned based on your preferences. I had mine widened and built out to match a 2011 better and it was amazing.
  12. Finish on the slide is very thin and wears fast. A non issue for me
  13. My findings on Legion versus GG trigger...The GG was a crisper wall and more defined. The Legion was OK and a good deal better than the regular X5 trigger but didn't feel right to me. When doing live fire bill drills I could easily replicate consistent .13 splits in the A zone with the GG and the Legion was more like .16 and a rare .15. GG is preferred on my end over the stock Legion trigger but I hear the Burke job on a Legion is fantastic. Too many trigger rabbit holes to go down!
  14. I have owned both and actually played around and swapped them out and shot them in different configurations. Other than the pre tension or difference in lock up as mentioned above they worked and felt the same while shooting. The different optic cuts on every gun they release helps keep Springer Precision busy in the optic plate game but it gets annoying.

Does anyone make a plate that you can use on the long slide KC competition version to use a different optic other than the Bushnell that comes on it?
  16. 1. They work well, expensive, good CS, all look the same to me, just don't take a taxi ride..... 2. I have owned a "few" Limcats and still do. Happy to share my experiences. Limcats are top shelf and nearly all parts are made in house and more every day. You can get super creative with looks, etc. 3. Chris is local to me and he likes them. I am sure the paycheck helps. You can easily mod them to make lots of STI parts work like grips, etc. The mags are cheap! They are a good value for sure but not much stateside support....yet
  17. The mag catch is also NOT ambi. Cuteness is fleeting quickly.
  18. I will let you know! Was looking for a high quality backup with the same footprint as my Romeo3 max. We shall see
  19. John "Limcat!" lol This was a video created solely to sell this specific used gun FWIW

That is comforting! The extra weight in the frame must be contributing.
  21. No. Not without a plate. The Alpha3 has the same mounting pattern as RTS2 and Romeo3 Max but has a little larger footprint in the front.
