  1. I think it was Lone Wolf. It is a different ejector housing with a set screw. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F222902259959 I think i had ~$60 invested in the whole thing.
  2. In my gen 4 I had a TTI trigger kit and an over travel stop. That was probably my favorite trigger for glocks. I had the “edge”, and it seemed like it wasn’t any better than a ghost connector and a spring kit.
  3. This is precisely what I was getting at in my earlier post. Awhile back stippling in that area was ok, but a shelf was not. But whatever.
  4. In my 17.4, I was loading 3.6 grains of TG , my 130 cast bullet, range brass, an whatever primers I could find cheapest. A gen 4 mag and TTI 140 always ran perfect, and I even reloaded to it a few times. I ran a factory recoil assembly, tungsten GR and 13# spring, and tungsten GR and 15# spring and never had a problem. As as far as the “limp wrist” argument goes, I have fired multiple glocks, 1911s, and other handguns with nothing more than my thumb around the back strap and my trigger finger on the trigger. None of them have failed to feed yet, and my 1911 with 45 Super ammo might have got away from me—but still fed the next round.
  5. Excellent post. I cast all of my bullets and have put many thousands of them through Glocks. Not an issue at all.
  6. That ain’t no joke. I’m 99% certain that I’ve read on this very forum that those cuts were not allowed, even with the 2019 updates. Stippling the area was ok, but a shelf or ledge was bad. I wish they would make up their minds.

  8. It is odd how certain areas have divisions that are more popular than others. I’m my area, Limited has always been dominant, followed by Open, and the rest being shared by Production and SS. Now Lim, Open, and CO are fairly equal, hardly anyone shoots PRO, L10, SS, or Rev, and we make fun of PCC shooters.

What was the turnaround on the milling? I’m not too fond of being married to one dot either—hence why I’ve never milled the Glock.

I’ve been shooting CO with a G17 for awhile now, and just decided to take the plunge into the CZ world. I picked up a used SP-01 for $500, and am wondering what to do now. I know some trigger work work is going to be needed. What kind of trigger can I get with CGW springs, or would I be better off with one of their other kits? I’m not liking the price tag on the full action kit ($300)..... Is any brand of basepad noticeably better than anything else? I've been using a dovetail mount on the Glock, and haven’t minded it. Is one mount much better than the next for a CZ? Also, if anyone has any of these parts laying around that they don’t need, send me a PM. All I have at this point is a gun and one mag.
  12. Or a tanfo and expect to use it like Stoeger.
  13. OP, I’m on my second FF3; probably have 7k~ through my CO gun. The first one made it about 4K before the emitter lens broke; and idk how it happened. I took it out of the safe and the lens was cracked.
  14. So the glass being tiny is supposed to be a good thing in an “oh sh!t” moment and I can’t find the dot??
  15. I think if most people bought a Glock , xdm, M&P, or whatever plastic fantastic the liked, did some upgrades, and spent the other $1000-2000 on classes and training, they’d be miles ahead. *this applies to all divisions except Open.
  16. Not necessarily. “The Range Officer must judge whether or not an accurate score can be determined.” If the RO can score it, he does. If he can’t, it’s a reshoot.
  17. I go to locals to practice my excuses Its fairly common around here for a few guys to shoot two divisions in one day. They definitely don’t do as much reset, but honestly it’s not that big of a deal. I’ve RO’d majors where the “GM, sponsored shooters” wouldn’t get off their ass to tape one target—and all they had to mess with was one gun. As as far as it being an advantage: who cares. You get beat by a guy that shot the match three times? Sign up three times next month.
  18. I’m on my second one. The diopter lens broke on my first one. (Still haven’t figured out how—I pulled it out of the safe and it was shattered.) Turnaround was very fast getting a replacement. I have been shooting CO off and one for nearly two years, and I like the Burris just fine.
  19. Trying to toss a stage that I had gun trouble on. All I want to see is the overall for the match, if that stage never existed. How do do I make this happen?

  21. Because Troy said so. Also, you can’t cut the frame into a shelf, but this slide stop is totally legal. Clear as mud?
  22. I second this. If you have the money, go with the Atlas, or whichever custom 2011 is the must-have next month. As a side note, I will never understand the cost/performance ratio of 2011 mags. At over $100 each, they should run non-stop straight out of the box.
  23. And was one of the alpha hits missing a grease ring, or look different than all the other holes in targets from that shooter?
  24. May be, but I’ve used 3 of their 140’s for nearly two years and haven’t had any problems whatsoever. I do clean all my mags that hit the ground though.
