Well, the pin was moving on one side, had another an drove the pin out, and that was when I got two parts of the pin. Looks to me like a bad pin, rough on the inside and shiny and crisp on the outside.

it's moving latterly, the frame is retaining it, can see marks from rubbing in the frame.

I've noticed that the pin for the barrel link is moving, should it be staked, or red Loctite?

Just put one on the wife's' XDM, fit with no alterations. I like it, because now I can easily remove the slide without interference with the slide racker. Oh, she likes it to.

Check out Powder River for machining the OSP mount. Cheaper than a new pistol, but what the heck, good excuse for another

I use a KKM .355 barrel with HAP .356 bullets, accuracy is great.

Yep, 9mm, really helped with recoil. Also a note, I find the Vortex Viper to be a better sight than the Venom. Both are 6MOA, clear lenses, but zeroing is much more positive on the Viper. Will say the battery replacement is easier on the Venom. Venom manufactured in Philippines and Viper in China.

Well, went to the range and ended up with an 11# spring, a lot better than the 14#. Not shooting full power loads, right at minor power factor, but will keep an eye on the guide rod.

Same for me, the lowest weight spring for the XDM guide rod I've found is 14#, wanted to try a lower weight? Going out to the range today with a 12 and 13# springs to give it a try, will let you know how it works. My only concern is the bushing, I've emailed Springer to see if I can get an extra or two for when I loose this one.

OK, that goes on after the spring and into the barrel hole?

Just got a Springer Precision guide rod for an XDM to use 1911 springs, no instructions, and I was on their site to look for instructions, but I'm missing something. The separate hat washer(spacer) goes on the guide rod with the hat washer facing towards the open end of the guide rod?

My OAL is 1.230", am using CCI SPP,

I use 10.1 gr AA#7 and .356 125 HAP, no popples 171PF. It's dirtier than VV, I like it better, and I clean my pistol after I shoot, it's no problem. PS 5" KKM barrel

Bob knows what he is doing, you wont be disappointed.

I recommend APW, Bob does great work. I got mine in a matte finish.
