The Nationals is different than any other match. There is NO advantage to minor there. Courses are designed with 8-shooters in mind.

I like Prima V. Single base, cooler than TG, inexpensive. The newer lot takes a pinch more, but work up as usual.

Check EGW. they had a bunch of different mounts. You may have to use an adapter from Arredondo.

I bought 20# of the old lot of Prima V. With Xtreme 147 plated, not the heavy plated, I had to go to 3.5 to get to 135pf. I'm out of coated bullets right now, but hope to be able to go down to 3.1. Wow, it's clean. When end I get thru the Prima V, gonna try Red Dot again. I used 4#, & liked it.

Thread drift question. If you drop your gun in a safe area, unloaded of course, do you still need an RO to pick it up?

I like 5.11 in the summer for the carabiner strap. I hang a hand towel off it for sweaty hands at LAMR.

Cabelas has the Viper on sale for $179, but I think it's in-store only. Last week was first responder week, badges got 10% off the entire store. Picked up one for $162.

I've used the OEM Checkmates, Cobra, Metalform 8rd. and they've all ran 100%. I liked the Cobra the best because the Dawson pad for them had a wider base that is more comfortable on a reload. They are the most expensive.

OEM 17 mags with a Dawson base & the OEM spring/follower hols 23. The gear is a small cost compared to match fees, travel expenses, reloading equipment, components, etc.

I let a couple people shoot my LimPro CO gun tonight, and I think some are seriously considering it. Even sold a Vortex Venom to one.

If you're going to break the rule and handle it, might as well break the rule and pick it back up.

Do you think the breech face would be far enough off? My 9mm barrel in a Glock 22 runs perfectly, 100%. I checked the top ends for sale. As much $$ as a complete gun. Why Tanfo dropped the LP is beyond me.

Weather is supposed to be gorgeous! Probably my only big match of the year, can't say I feel very prepared, but plan on having fun.

Could someone with a 40 LimPro measure the outside diameter of their barrel? I want to know if a 9mm barrel would drop into a 40 slide. I can only find 40 LimPros now since they've been discontinued.

Does anyone make a dovetail adapter for the EAA guns? Primary Machine only has the RMR version stll available. To mill the EAA would probably get into the FP block, which I think you stll have to have in CO, if it came with one. I think my Limited Pro with a DeltaPoint on a Primary Machine mount is great. Wish I could buy another one just like it. 44.5oz.

Mine has a DP/JP footprint, but if I use the Arredondo spacer, I can use a Fastfire/Vortex or C-more.

Check Primary Machine for a mount. The Deltapoint & Jpoint use the same mount.

I've used a Jpoint, Vortex Venom, & currently an original Deltapoint. The Vortex Viper looks great.

ETS 140 holds 22, I think. My factory 17 mag with a Dawson basepad holds 23.

I wonder if nearby clubs are pulling bigger numbers. That would indicate a problem at that club.
