  1. Agree. If the hammer spring legs are on top of the trigger pin, it should not walk out. But the hammer pin is only retained by the J spring in the hammer. KNS pins are anti-rotation to save wear on the receiver holes. A side benefit is the also prevent walk out. Some after market triggers, usually the cassette style, have pins with E clips or something similar because there isn't anything inside the trigger to prevent walk out.
  2. I wanted to make sure no one thought I was disparaging Candice in any way about this gun. I found her posts when she sold it to the prior owner, & she was very forthcoming about it. I had talked with her about it off the board, & she was very helpful. I think we agreed a Titan hammer would solve the light strikes, but I'm not sure I want to invest in a complete parts refit right now. Thanks, to all, I think I'm close to having it sorted out.
  3. I like the trigger in it now. I replaced the sear spring, main spring, firing pin spring, firing pin, all with PD parts. I thought I had it sorted out until last night. I ordered 3 TRS that will be here tomorrow- thanks Joe! It has a BOLO, but the hammer drops too early in DA, causing my light strikes. I may send it to PD when I get the gumption. Thanks for the background on it, Candice.
  4. I heated mine & shimmed it in a couple places with rubber grommets.
  5. Not every gun has a division. In this case you have a very nice L10 gun, just not a SS gun. Making weight is just one of the rules, not having a full length dust cover is another. Both are clear and unambiguous.
  6. Just finished registering. I count 10 PCC shooters so far. Should be fun!
  7. Yeah, I've been messing around with this LimPro for CO. First I broke the Shield/JPoint that was on it, then I broke the cheap Primary Arms green dot that I had laying around. I spent lots of time trying to get S&B primers to fire in DA. Gave up & just use a Federal for the first round. I was told it had a Titan hammer in it when I bought it, but it's a lightweight Hart. A Titan would fix the light strikes. Finally shot a pretty good Monday night match with it last week, then broke a TRS last night. After doing some background, found out this was Twinkie's gun, & she has a video up where she tells Ben she has gone through several TRS. Ben said he's never broken one in a Stock II. It's accurate but a very "experienced" gun & I don't really want to put a lot more money in it. This will probably be my only foray into Tangfos. My open guns are Glock-like compared to this.
  8. What keeps the Canik pin in place? If it's easier to get in, it can't have the same tension as the spring roll pin.
  9. I ordered some PD TRS last night. Hope I can get them before the weekend, we have a classifier match Sunday, & I wanted to get my CO classification. This gun with a Vortex Venom & Taylor Freelance base pads rocks for a carry optics gun.
  10. I broke the trigger return spring on my LimPro tonight. How common is this? Do I need to buy a dozen spares? That spring is a PITA to install, I think.
  11. It was the bolt. My Spinta blem. bolt came in today, & I could see the obvious Glock cut on the bottom compared to my old bolt. Old bolt is back in my Colt style SBR, new bolt in my PSA Glock gun. All good.
  12. I like the earlier date too. If we could get that awesome prize table back, that would be killer. But, the lower entry fee was nice. I love this match no matter how they do it.
  13. About the same for me. My 130pf PCC loads only make 120 in a Glock 34. I'm loading seperate minor ammo for the two. My PCC is an 10.5" SBR.
  14. I had the J spring in the hammer break, which allowed the hammer pin to walk out. Only time I've ever seen this. I do run KNS pins in my PCC, regular in my 223's.
  15. It's definitely sticking on the bottom of the bolt. Mags drop free when the bolt is out of the upper. Doesn't matter if a round is in the mag or not. Thanks for the suggestions.
  16. I think its the bolt. I bought it used on ar15.com last year. I'd been using it in the same upper with a Faxon 10.5" SBR barrel & Colt style lower, & it runs fine there. hope the new bolt clears it up. I'll move the PSA back to the SBR.
  17. Glock 33rd. mags are on sale at Midway for $25 too.
  18. The ejector stops overinsertion. you can see the left feed lip under the ejector. Good suggestion though. I'll try it with a round when I get home & report.
  19. I have no affiliation with PSA, just get their emails. Most recent has a 16" 9mm carbine with Mlok handguard & MOE grip, Glock style, & a new Glock 19 for $999. Sell the 19, your into a new PCC for $500.
  20. All my 9 mags stick: Glock factory 15, 17 & 33 round, Magpul !7, & Korean 31. I haven't shot it yet, just built the upper yesterday, so this is just inserting empty mags.My Spinta bolt should be here Monday. When I can, I'm going to try it with the bolt removed, but the upper on, and see if they stick. I did notice some wear on the right feed lip on the mags that are sticking. I think that is my contact point. The bolt retracts and chambers rounds with no noticible drag. Wonder if it'll just wear in.
  21. I got a Venom 3MOA, but would like a 6MOA better. I like the battery door on top, but the lens is a little small.
  22. I didn't realize I would get a SIII holster when I ordered a BT for my LimPro from BSPS. I'd prob try Red Hill if I had a do-over. Or I could buy an SIII to put in it.
