N320 isnt a good powder for an open gun. unless youre shooting bunny fart minor loads you are going to need a different powder to make major.

Ripped my thumb nail back a few too many times and always bend mine way up like the ape hanger infinity one above. I called to get one from infinity like the one above a week or so ago but the sticker shock price tag kept me from going through with it. 80$ for a slide racker....

mounting is the same as rts2. You just cant use the same mount if it has a blast shield without modifications. From what ive heard the new sig red dots, max and xl are significantly brighter than rts2 and dpp.

it doesnt say Max on it. When i saw both released i never considered the max. The xl seems to be everything the max is plus some.

Well I’ll say this. A romeo3 is brighter with two 2016’s. I’ll take a pic to see if it shows up on my phone. I’ve never replaced a battery because it dimmed out so I can’t comment on whether it maintains brightness toward the end of the battery life.

I have 3 of these dots. I'll be the guinea pig without a brain. Worst case I burn one out. The Brightness increase in one I tested was probably more like 10-15% but that was indoors so it may have been exaggerated. Ill test it outside in the sunlight to see if it really makes a difference. One of my R3's seemed brighter than the other two to start...

There’s a lot of speculation in this post but it intrigued me enough to buy some eBay 2016 batteries and give it a whirl. It made a huge brightness improvement for me. Nerds, do you really think this will fry my dot? The improvement in brightness I think would make a big difference on a Bright sunny day shooting steel. Enough so that I may just take my chances at frying this thing. At least in low light conditions it seems much brighter. Like glaringly bright. ( I say huge difference but in reality it’s like %15-%20 brighter. )

Powder valley had a promo going on. Every 4 lbs of shooters world and you got one on free. They also had free hazmat or free shipping at the same time. Don’t remember which it was but I ended up getting 10 one pounders. And 2 of them were free. I bought some other powders and a bunch of primers that at the time also had a mail in rebate going on. Not counting the mail in rebate I paid under 16$ a lb

The module is where the dot comes from. The little lens that covers the diode is what I believe you’re referring to.

s#!t I’ll have to email them too. That would be the perfect dot. In theory it should keep the price even lower than it already is ! These 500-600$ red dots are ridiculous. If a mini 510 was an option I’d be in for 4 or 5.

I like the 510. I just wish it didn’t have the solar panel and was shorter/lighter. The Romeo xl looks like it check that box. Almost same size window. Shorter and lighter. Hopefully these hold up , I’d make the switch from a 510 if so. The circle ️ Is not a viable dot option in my opinion and have only ever run the dot by itself.

I dont know about the legion but i know there are fixed sights for the regular x5. I have one, i think its a night sight or blank.

I’m surprised nobody is giving the Romeo 3 xl any thought. Glass same size as a 510c. Less than half the weight. Same footprint about as the max

I don’t care what ppl say about Comps not being effective at minor. I know for me, shooting falling steel with an open 2011 is night and day different than a non comped gun even shooting sub minor. It’s just easier with any form of comp

Pretty much anything except a gogun *thumb rest [generic]*. The guy who trademarked the name is an abomination to shooting sports and an akai or anyone else’s is a much better design anyway.
