Yeah, the reason why CZC so aggressively mushrooms the pins is beyond my understanding. I had a very hard time taking out the TRS spring on my Accushadow as well.
I have been using the cgw pins on 4 guns with over 100K rnds combined. All my buddies who are shooting CZs also use the cgw pins for years. I have not seen any issues with those pins ever.
I enjoy these videos as well.
Cha-lee - what is your practice routine? Do you still dry fire? How much do you live fire? From this journal It looks like you just shoot matches.
Thanks
I did it using the socket method as well. I used it on both gun. The bushing from the old shadow was not deformed at all. I do not think it was damaged by the socket. I had to take out the CGW bushing and re-installed it because I installed it wrong the first time. It was absolutely intact
Yeah, it was not difficult at all
That is what I am thinking as well. It is bottom of the bushing. I installed the CGW bushing and it takes some efforts to remove the barrel but it is not that bad once I figured the right angle.
My practice Shadow 2 has over 27K rd through. I decided to install the CGW bushing just because I had it. I removed the old one and it was surprised to see this:
It looks very worn out. I also have a very old Shadow with over 70K rd through. I removed the bushing from that old gun as well just to see it. It looked normal and intact. Kinda puzzled by that....
I injured my tendinitis with the captains of crash a few years ago. Daily dry fire did not help either. It took 6 months of physical therapy to recover. I also know a few people who went through the same experience.
