  1. Perhaps, I am wrong since I did not see this gun yet but I think this is a solution without a problem. I have shot CZ SAO guns in USPSA Limited a LOT. The triggers on all my CZ TSOs were amazing. That is not where CZs (Not only BTW) were lacking. I am shooting a 2011 now not because it has a better trigger. As a matter of fact, the TSO's trigger is better. However, the 2011 tracks noticeably better in recoil. When I was shooting tight targets I was surprised how fast my gun was returning back to the targets. It probably does not really matter for the 90% targets in the most of the shooting sports though. The price of course is hard to beat comparing to any decent 2011s

    TSO 40SW Rear Sight

Since I started using the buffers, I stopped breaking anything on my TSO's. Even the slide stops run over 10K now. I have to replace the buffers all the time but I think it is worth it.
  3. Grams guts. TTI 3g base plate. 4g does not make the gauge
  4. Looks like the OP really misses the old good doodie project... Good times...
  5. So with the same powder charge and OAL: 180gr - Major PF (Assuming 170-173) 165gr - 140 PF 155 gr - 131PF 135gr - 109 PF Thanks
  6. Did anybody try 165gr instead of 155? Wondering what PF I'd get with 165g bullets
  7. The question is not that Nils or any other better shooters shooting any gun would win. The real question is if Nils shooting, say, Shadow 2 would bit Nils shooting, say, Canik. I'd say yes. Gear matters
  8. I really doubt that it's about 15rds. The optics and the rules changes making production Limited 10 minor are what that are killing it.
  9. do you have to do anything to the mags to make sure they fit the USPSA box if shooting minor? Are they re loadable when loaded to 10? Would be nice to have this option with the same gun
  10. I started using the buffers after I broke two rear sights , countless slide stops (Every 3K) and a barrel (after 30K). Since I started using the buffers, I break the slide stops around 8-10K. No problems with anything else. I have to replace them every 500rd, essentially every practice. The thin ones are no good after 200rd. I bought a lot of them and just keep on replacing. It is worth to me. I just bought a 2011 and plan on using the buffers as well. When I shot Production with Shadow 2 , the buffers lasted for 20K. 40SW is a different story.
  11. I dunno. My Shadow 2 has little in common with "actual duty/carry guns commonly used by military and police all over the world".
  12. I think that the reloads is not the main reason for Production loosing its popularity. Optics is probably the main one. The other one is Production right now is essentially Limited 10 minor if you look at the Production legal guns. I personally know people (mostly LEOs and timmies, some of them are M level shooters) who quit shooting USPSA for that reason. It maybe ridiculous for a lot of us but it meant a lot for those folks who really wanted to compete with their carry or duty guns.
  13. To me this was one of the main reasons why I switched to Limited from Production.
  14. I did not know that. What are the rules? How about plated bullets, specifically Xtremes?
  15. When I was shooting Glocks, I tried many KKM, Wilson, and Long Wolff barrels in multiple Glocks (G34, 22, 17, and 20) The only justifiable reason to use those drop in barrels is to shoot the bullets that are not appropriate for Glock polygonal barrels (Plated and lead).
  16. I broke a barrel on my TSO at around 30K
  17. Very interesting. Do you remember what drills you ran?
  18. there are two more in Northern Oregon. That's pretty much all, LOL
  19. This sounds counterintuitive. Perhaps I don't fully understand it. Why would the gun dip more with the harder grip? I'd expect opposite.
  20. Yes, I just talked to them. It is now either in stock or not. Right now it is out of stock. Should be ready in a week or so.
