  2. They must have dropped the older logos. Just show the new ones in stock now... http://www.uspsa.org/cgi-bin/cart/page.cgi?category=decals
  3. Well I got my grip today from Bobby at Freedom Gunworks.
  4. Limited or SS Jay? No more SSTK for me! It will either be Limited or Limited 10.
  5. I'll be there. I mean how could I not! Just gotta get my app sent out yet.
  6. Hits: Rudy Project glasses, Matt Cheely 6" gun, Dillon Presses Misses: Tuned magazines (name withheld to eliminate being flamed ), Dillon tumblers (CV-500 & 750)
  7. I'll volunteer to take all the Noyz glasses that you guys don't want!
  8. I prefer clear lenses in lowlight or dark house shooting situations. Even at indoor ranges. I used to use the racing red years ago, but stepped up to clear lenses with the money I won at my very first indoor major USPSA match.
  9. I have to admit that caught my attention. Even if the gun would cycle, what would be the point of shooting an Airsoft that doesn't fire a projectile? The guns cycle when the followers are modified much like a real magazine. I have done this even though I use bb's. I talked with Manny in the past about it and he says he gets distracted by seeing the bb's fly downrange.
  10. I've used these guys with great success and service. I've used the WE-TECH guns with pretty good success. I recommend extra magazines though. http://www.airsoftpost.com/airsoft-pistols...-21_45_252.html And yes they replicate the real guns very well in all aspect other than recoil. With magazine inserted they will mimic the actual weight within ounces.
  11. Rudy's are the way to go, preferable the Noyz model. But Rydon's are awesome as well. I prefer the ImpactX Photochromic Red for shooting. The visual acuity is awesome. Here is some info: http://www.rudyprojectusa.com/technology/impactx.htm
  12. Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVuVuwox_ok
  13. Here's something from Champion targets offer by Cabela's. Champion Ferris Wheel
  14. I think it largely depends on how dirty the brass is. Walnut works better for dirty brass, but tends to leave the surface "matte". Where as corn cob polishes to more of a shine. YMMV Nickle brass tends to be easier to clean and resist the stuck on carbon residue, so corn cob should be suffiscient.
  15. I have thrown that out there a couple times over the past few years. But was ridiculed by members. Why the change of heart Brian? Don't get me wrong, I still think there is ample need.

    Divorce

Dang I'm sorry to hear this Chris. I am going through my second divorce as we speak. And it is hard. I'm still trying to put one foot in front of another. I am just trying to focus on the kids' needs and let the chips fall where they may. PM me if you wanna talk. There have been several members here that have shown alot of support. You know a couple of them really well. Thanks for all the support. Shooting sports are more than just a good time burning powder....there is a real core support group there too. I wish you the best in this time bro.
  17. As far as the side shields of the Zyon's go, they will fit into the Noyz as well. I am preferring the Noyz, basically on "style" alone. But you can't go wrong with any of the three models. Zyons are a bit heavier than the Rydon and Noyz if that matters to you.
  18. A beautifully tuned set of mags and grip from Bobby Keigans at Freedom Gunworks!

    Rain

Me too! Its raining now and is getting in the way of my "range plans". Most people out here like the rain. But I have brought with me a dislike for it from living in the Midwest...
  20. I agree that you need to practice pushing the envelope in practice. I like the push until the wheels come off, then dial it back a bit approach. Keep working on pushing outside your comfort zone enough and your speed will increase. There is some merit to pushing the speed in a club match. But I caution doing this regularly as it will bleed into a major match and cost valuable points. I say this with experience! In club matches, I like to treat them as a major match and practice shooting matches. There is a mental game to it that you don't get at the practice range. In matches trust that the speed will be there and put it out of you mind as much as possible. Train for speed and focus more on consistancy and quality hits, calling shots and visualizing the stages at matches. That's my take and, trust me, I need to improve that philosophy as well. Confidence is king. Know your abilities and limitations learned by pushing that speed in practice.
  21. I had the same problem crop up earlier this year. I also have a swenson and trimmed down the right lever. As I took my finger out of the trigger guard during movement and reloads my whole grip tends to relax and the knuckle of my right index finger was popping the safety on. So I did as several have mention here. Had a buddy Pat Mileshosky stretch the detent plunger spring, deepened the notch and I reduced the right side lever's width. Still was having problems once in awhile. So I added some JB Weld to the grip just below the "pad" portion of the safety. Bingo! Never had the problem again.
