  1. Yeah I played it back in 2003 at a steak house. One of the forum members here has one in house...or as he called it..the man room!
  2. Let me be the first to welcome you and look forward to shooting with you.
  3. I voted no, but that is only because it is my regular days off. If it wasn't, I would have had to work the holiday.
  4. You gotta make it out Trace! Wish you could be on our squad (9)...
  5. UMMM, No . Good memory though Jay!!! I don't blame ya. Had to give it a try...
  6. The paint is looking really nice....does that mean your "other" Limited gun is gonna be on the market?!
  7. Congrats and thank you for your tireless service brother! Looking forward to seeing you out this way!
  8. Here were my results using a Competition Electronics Prochrono: Weather: Sunny, calm winds and 42 degrees Gun Information Gun STI Custom Barrel Schuemann 6" Load Information Powder Alliant E3 Primer Magtec Magnum OAL 1.180" Crimp .410" Bullet Information Weight 220 grains Mfr. Dev 20 P. Factor 168.52 I need to work on better Std Deviation with more consistancy at the press. But looks to be about the same power factor with 3.0gr of powder with both Standard and Magnum primers. All rounds fired reliably and no pressure signs. I tested 40 rounds in 10 round lots at 3.0gr, 2.9gr, 2.8gr and 2.7gr loadings.
  9. Unfortunately I have to resort to use them in .40 major. I loaded a couple test rounds using Alliant E3 powder at OAL 1.180". I will report back on the progress or mishaps!
  10. My guess would be alot in Prod Divsion and quite a few in Lim/L10. Just a SWAG though.
  11. Sounds like you aren't driving the gun back to the previous sight picture after the first shot. Timing drills will help this skill. Work on driving that gun back to the center of the A zone. Remember to let the gun do most of the work, but you are the driver.
  12. I just use OEM tubes with Dawson basepads and Bolen guts with 100% reliability and they fit the gauge. I would spend that extra "tuning" money on reloading components!!
  13. You've learned well grasshopper! I'm sure you will be totally happy and do well with your choice. I know I have been enjoying my Cheely built 6".
  14. Nice! I waited to shoot longer than it took you to shoot the whole match?! Something is wrong here... Maybe it was the weather?!
  15. Yeah, ditto with LESS flip here...
  16. If you can, get ahold of a 6" gun. But if you find a good deal on a 5", I wouldn't turn it down cold.
  17. Well I have my yellow copies and the "Time of Day Stage Shot" supports the amount of time we waited to shoot stage 12. It was approximately 4 hours, but that was broken into two times of long periods of waiting for the same stage. So yes, total time was accounted for in that ballpark. Waiting was one thing...but the lack of affirmation and accomodation is what is sticking in my mind as unacceptable. We suggested to be moved ahead instead of waiting several times before we were finally moved to shoot other stages. We were not afforded the opportunity to shoot any more than 2 other stages. I am sure that these issues are being looked into, and will be improved for next year. Most all of the RO's were great and a pleasure to deal with. The stages were awesome and am sure next year would be just as top notch.
  18. Thanks for the link, but been there done that and it still doesn't help me any....I will plan and prepare as if everything is in order. I guess I will have to keep checking the USPSA website to see when they start the online squading...
  19. Yes I am. Hopefully you are so we can squad together. If so, bring the Edge I sold you so I can see how she is doing!
  20. If you can check with James Smith or John Aull from squad 20, one of them lost a Caspian mag. They were shooting Open...
  21. The one I handled was at the STI booth at DTR and it didn't feel much heavier than the polymer grip. I must say it felt good in the hand but outside my price range for a grip.
  22. Not for 3-4 hours straight no, but 2 hours until we were moved to stages 1&2 and then another hour to hour and a half waiting once we were sent back to shoot stage 12. Not to mention the 20-30 minutes between stages 9-10-11....But to disregard that we waited a lot on Saturday would be foolish. The RM mentioned that he was aware of our waiting as were many of the RO's and all were gracious enough to "feel" our pain. I shot stage 11 at 1:47pm and then we were moved to stage 1 from stage 12. I shot stage 1 at 4:57pm and shot stage 12 at 8:15pm This is according to the time wrote on my score sheets by the RO's...
  23. Looks like there are a few missing from that list Dave... Most notably to me were Dillon Precision, Larue Tactical and Dawson Precision... I'm sure there were others...
