  1. Had a great time yesterday guys. Can anyone job my memory what Stage 7 - Burn it Down was? Was that the one with the "H" shaped firing area or was that 6?
  2. Thanks FreeJersey, I might hold out then. I want to replace my whole current setup now that I'm getting more serious about the sports. I'm still using the free XD Gear Mag Holders and my thick leather carry belt. I might use my Amazon funds towards their competition belt, which I read is basically a rebranded CR Speed.
  3. Is it cheaper in the construction or the attachments it comes with? Looking online the actual holster part looks the same.
  4. It would be for the XD. I don't believe you can even use the offset and drop for IDPA. I really would like to keep the gun in the same spot even though the draw is different (in regards to moving the cover garment, having the gun several inches lower and farther out on the body would make things even different).
  5. I'm looking for a new holster for USPSA Production & IDPA SSP. I was browsing Amazon and I saw this Blade-Tech holster, is there any different between this and the Blade-Tech's I see for almost double the price? I'm wondering if it's like a closeout type deal. Amazon Link I have a $25 Amazon Card, my Credit Card Rewards and Amazon Prime so this would be free. Upgrading from a Blackhawk Serpa (don't want to mess with the lock in IDPA, have it temp disabled for USPSA) Thanks
  6. Wayne County Raccoon Hunters has free practice on Thursday nights. Show up around 5:30, usually go hot at 6. Usually they setup one stage, run it through a couple of times you can try different things to see if your scores improve then change it up a little bit some more and run it a few times. More Info Here - http://ipsc66.org/
  7. I'm interested in this as well. I am looking to add a 650 later this year. Any other reviews?
  8. Can't wait for the matches. I should be able to attend all of them but the May match. Thanks Guys
  9. Yesterday I got to handle a CZ75 Shadow at a match and dry fire it a few times...good thing I didn't actually fire it because I'm sure I'd be selling bodily fluids and scrounging everything I could to be ordering one this week
  10. The most I sort is stuff with possible primer crimps and junk brass (AMERC, etc) in 9mm. The junk I toss and crimped stuff I put in a separate bucket and deal with it when I get enough.
  11. I think the metering issues really depend on the powder measure and press combo. I use it on a Lee Classic Cast Turret in a Pro Auto Disk. I get at most +/- .1 gr and if it does carry its usuallyon the heavier side. Has worked well for me with 124gr's of all types.
  12. Depends on the powder measure mine never varies more than +/- .1 gr however its usually right on. I use the Lee Pro Auto Disk.
  13. That would work if you tumbled indoors. I tumble in my detached garage and I got real tired of having to get dressed at night to turn off the tumbler when I'd start a batch when I got home from work (especially when it was middle of winter up here in MI). Now I can just start it up when I leave or get home and not worry it till the next day or days later.
  14. Not a bad idea...if you could find .22 or had a stock pile of it. Only have 2 bricks myself.
  15. I bought one of these on Amazon works great. Done like 4 loads with my Lyman 1200 now using it. Set to 3 hours and walk away. Going to get some of these for my other electronic devices now.
  16. Shot this one on Sunday, All Alpha's but 1 Charlie (last shot by 1/4") Production 7th out of 18 58 Points - 8.15 sec - 7.1166 HF - 63.92% 1st was 56 Points - 5.03 sec - 11.1332 HF - 100% You blinked and he was done...impressive.
  17. Definitely I'm a huge computer geek first, but I love going hunting and shooting so Geeky red neck. I'm an eCommerce Manager / Freelance Web Developer, my car is nick named the Storm Trooper (White Kia Soul - Empire Logo in Rear Window) and I'm just an overall geek/nerd....but I rock a big beard, go deer hunting every year and have a lot of redneck skillz.
  18. Now I eagerly await, I'm pretty sure I'll be in C class once it updates. Shot 4 classifiers yesterday in addition to the 2 already in the system, did pretty good on 2 of them dumped it up on the other 2. In order from oldest to newest: 48.9312 21.4110 40.75 24.01 63.92 17.75 If I'm reading the USPSA website it would use my 4 highest %'s from the latest 6 so that would average out to 44.4%. Correct?
  19. I think investing in a reloading setup and practicing would be a wise decision. Even if you sell your current gun and move to another gun in a different caliber you can sell your dies / conversion kit / etc and not be out much.
  20. If it's a small revolver or auto, the Remora is pretty nice. https://www.remoraholsterstore.com/‎
  21. Has anyone tried out the Budget Reloader case feeder? Little cheaper and doesn't require plates for additional calibers. I've been thinking of getting a 650 in the coming months.
  22. I'm good on primers and powder for a year. In about 6 months going to buy another years worth to have enough cushion.
  23. After next Sunday I'll finally be classified, see where I land. I've got a case of the winter blues but an indoor place is having a classifier match with 3-4 classifiers so finally I'll know where I stand.
  24. I dont love it but I don't hate it. I'm sure I'll enjoy it more when I get a progressive... 900-1000 rounds per month on my Lee Turett loses its appeal after awhile. Especially when its really cold or really hot in my garage.
  25. Is everything back to normal for this Sunday? I didnt' end up going last time because of the circumstances and the weather was pretty crappy. Thanks
