Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. This ^^^^. DQs happen and sounds like you handled it fine. You got it out of the way and nobody got hurt. They do suck though, been there done that.
  2. Nice! Scaled mine again, 55 reps. Missed the 3rd round by one rep, I think I took too long between pull-up sets. Something else to work on...
  3. I do the same thing. I have cheap knock-offs I got on Amazon that worked fine last year, though there is some play in the rear. I only use them when a stage goes from inside 25 to 100 or more. Since our clubs use USPSA targets, at 25 yards or less I can't tell where I'm at on a target at 4x. At that point, it's just as fast to roll the rifle as to switch power even with a throw lever. If I were shooting the 3GN type targets only, I would probably just look for the red on 4x and not even run offsets.
  4. On the 7751 did you order the size that your measurement indicated or did you go one size smaller?I was right in between and went to the smaller size. Since I do a fair amount of movement in them, I wanted to make sure they moved as little as possible. I know I've seen people say order a size smaller if you want a little more support too.
  5. Yep, I have the 7751 sleeves and love 'em. I've got very little cartilage left in both knees, and these seem to really help keep my knees warmed up and loose. Definitely hesitated on the price, but they were well worth it.
  6. No worries there, man. I scaled to 85 lbs. Burpees, sure go ahead. Double unders, no way man. Definitely need work on those...
  7. Did it Saturday, ended up scaling it. 123 reps, 155# C&J. What grip strength I have was even less with a messed-up finger on my right hand.
  8. Yeah, just a bit lol. Enjoy your new toy!
  9. That's a good looking bow Corey, bet that'll shoot real nice! What's your hunting bow? I stopped in a bow shop yesterday and realized how old my bow really is...
  10. I just signed up today, this will be my first. Not sure I'm ready for it, to be honest! But hey, why not?
  11. You'll have additional drive time, but I would say it's doable for you to shoot a club match 4 weekends a month living in NW Indiana. Looks like there is one club close, with 3 more within 3 hours. Having said that, I drive 2 - 2.5 hours for all but one 3 gun match, so I'm used to that. Below are the clubs I'm thinking about... North Porter County Conservation Club, Chesterton, IN Warsaw Rifle and Pistol Club, Warsaw, IN Fort Wayne Rifle & Revolver Gun Club, Fort Wayne, IN Atlanta Conservation Club, Atlanta, IN
  12. I might just take you up on that! Almost lucked into a 550 a few weeks ago, but it didn't work out. I don't mind shooting factory for INMG cause the steel is rarely ever calibrated, but I'd like minor loads for USPSA, especially for the state match.
  13. Happy Birthday Mr. Kelly! Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience!
  14. Thanks for the offer, Matt. I'll see how things shake out the next few months, might take you up on that. I desperately need to get my house finished, mostly so I can get a press & start reloading!
  15. Kevin, FWIW I went online to check out the squadding link and you were listed under the staff squad. ETA: That's ssuming you're the Kevin S. Open shooter...
