I wouldnt change dots either. Ive got 2. One is only new though so it hasnt happened yet. Might try different brands of batteries to see if they are tougher.

I've had my DPP for a year or so. Last month I got it out of the safe after a 3 month break and the dot would go on and off during recoil. Swapped the batteries out and it was fixed. On the weekend it would go on and off during recoil again. Swapped the batteries out and it was fixed. The spring under the battery has a bit sticking up out of the centre and this nipple shaped piece seems to be eating away the coating of the battery, leaving a dot in the centre where the shiny coating of the battery is removed. This disconnects the circuit I suppose. Is there a way to prevent or slow this down? Batteries are cheap and easy to replace but it is a bit annoying.

A good RO will notice most of the time but if he is trying to watch for hits on steel then maybe not. Some squibs are hard to recognise too, especially if you are double plugged. I'm not going to risk my hearing by not double plugging on the off chance a shooter is a poor reloader.

Got my zigracker yesterday. The instructions i have accomodate the trubor, steel master, match master etc. The copy i found online didnt mention them. A++. Need to find someone to fit it for me now.

There won't be much in it. I'd go a steel grip before i spent the coin on an island barrel in limited. I recently had an island barrel infinity and switched back to an standard edge with a trigger job. Found no meaningful difference with tracking of the sights. The quality of the gun was much better but that didn't equate to faster or better shooting for me.

I saw a comparision and the glass size wasn't much different. The overall size was much smaller though. I've got 2 DPP's but was thinking about one to go on a shadow 2 for PDO. They look much better.

How can a trubor be more expensive than a CK arms? What if you import the trubor yourself?

Awesome, I wasnt sure if those measurements catered for a trubor or not as it doesnt say. I ordered one on the weekend, looking forward to getting it and having it fitted.

Ive done the mix and it worked well. Only done it once then started shooting copper jacketed stuff but was a bit concerned it could do damage.

Thanks guys. Locally I see a lot of trubors with the racker mounted on the flat which i dont want so I wasnt sure.

I just noticed the trubor I bought has a lot more meat cut out from the rear top of the slide than my current custom open gun. Is there enough real estate on the high part behind the ejection port to fit a zig racker? If it fits will the standard cmore scope mount get in the way? Not much room behind there. Thanks, Dan

I have a pro and only load at 1800. Any faster is a bit of a strain on its reliability. Good for processing though.

Are you shooting major? Minor might not eject like you are saying.

Plunk test looks ok to me. Shoot your gun more and wear it in.

2mm. The website records the options as 0.4, 0.2 and 0.0 Somewhere else mentions the factory one is 6mm.

Mine did this last night. Started off on bright then went up and down on recoil. A new battery fixed it though. I hadnt used it in a few months. Hopefully it stays good. I need another but rethinking that now.
