  1. From the LOK page for the magwell: You might want to ask them what extended basepads work since they don't list the brand names.
  2. If you are looking for a kydex holster, red hill tactical usually has holiday sales. They just had a 15% Father's Day sale that ended. "RW10" is currently active for 10%. For a belt and pouches, double alpha Academy will have deals, maybe 5-10% on their stuff. At the bottom of their homepage, you can subscribe to their newsletter and they will email you when there is a sale. If you create account, add things to your cart, then let them sit, they will usually send you a discount code within a couple days.
  3. What tubes were they to begin with though? If they were flush fit, then the extensions are still hitting the magwell. That's why I mentioned using longer tubes, you need a gap between the magwell and the basepad.
  4. I just ordered some Inov8 mudtalons wide to see if they fit my wide ass feet. I tried the Solomon wides, but they were still too narrow. I'm currently rocking Merrell Nova 3s that fit well but I want to try a more aggressive tread. My everyday shoes are Merrell Moab 3s Mid Wide. I will report back once received.
  5. Most magwells will stop a magazine from fully inserting, if that mag usually stops on the frame when there is no magwell present. Springer and Henning make basepads that are cut at an angle to pair with their respective magwells. You can also use longer tube magazines, with shorter basepads. Such as an MBX 140mm mag or an 18rd SP-01 tube with a shorter then stock basepad. I have some CZC extensions that work well. You can also file on stock SP-01 basepads to make them work. The 17rd mec-gar mags, with normal basepads, usually don't fit a magwell.
  6. Here is an interview of Jon Birdt. https://youtu.be/N84zJQgE0Cs?si=OOPZcuygAew3nuql
  7. Click on each candidate here, then different tabs for more info. https://uspsa.org/elections/candidates/2024-area-2
  8. If it's single action only, it looks like this guy which comes with the pre-travel screw drilled: https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/triggers/cz-75-sa-aluminum-trigger-factory-custom.html
  9. The covid ammo shortage happened and prices for 9mm got ridiculous so people started selling and buying any 9mm they could find. There is quite a lot of trash brass out there. Even though my buddies think it's unnecessary, I hand sort headstamps in the winter when working overnight shifts. It keeps my presses running smooth. My open load gets the FC, RP, WIN and Blazer first before the minor loads.
  10. I haven't tried the baller mount with the boss holster. I did use the original boss holster setup for years in production and carry optics. After getting frustrated with DAA holsters for my 2011s I switch to the Everglades MRH and loved it. I decided to upgrade my carry optics rig with the Henning T-1000 hanger so I could have the same 4 points of adjustability as my Everglades MRH does. I've been very happy with both and won't go back to the ball style mount again.
  11. It might be worth getting your hands on a spring tester to have hard data. It's good to test recoil springs right out of the package and see where they test after X number of rounds.
  12. 5-40 is very common. Usually 1/2" long, trim excess. You will need longer if you have a thumb rest. https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/249042-screw-size-for-optic-mount/
  13. I use Sordin ProX with their gel cup upgrade. I usually take them off when the range is cold between shooters. The electronic sound quality is way better than my old Peltor sports or Walker in earbuds I have tried in the past. I also had custom plugs made for $80 at a sectional in NH last year but I only wear them to double up when around center fire rifles. I find them uncomfortable if worn for extended periods.
  14. I would get a kydex holster from Red Hill Tactical. I shoot short dust cover bullshadows, which they have an option for. In your case, you can order the 75b, 75sa, shadow no dust cover option second in the the drop-down list. https://www.redhilltactical.com/CZ-Holster-Competition_p_14.html
  15. Sick runs man! Great job. The PCC division is so tight and the 2+ seconds you won by is a great margin. I did three runs. I came in 6th in stock auto, and 7th in open auto. I just mess around in PCC but I always enjoy watching the top shooters. I built out a Brekke upper and only got the handguard a week before the match after backordering in early February. My new setup is having magazine extension / follower drag issues that I wasn't able to fix before the match and it ended up killing me on one stage.
  16. That's a pretty cool website, thanks! Their .22LR data is very close to the chrono info I have on my Ruger Mark II that I had chopped to 2.1" before and after the barrel cut. Concerning nine major out of a PCC barrel, I have done it. My major load is a precision Delta 124gr at 1.180" going about 1380 FPS out of a 5" trubor. I was able to shoot it successfully in an older Colt with a very heavy buffer, the Vltor A5 Steel H4 at 9.6oz, with a Tubb's .308 flat wire spring. I did not get to chrono it, but it was definitely spicy. I don't recommend it.
  17. Thanks for the tip! I get tried of using compressed air to clean off my press.
  18. If a match didn't allow any paint, I would probably say something to the person in charge. If they still didn't allow it, I wouldn't go back. Like some of you have stated, I'm even willing to paint my own. Most clubs I've been to paint after each shooter unless that shooter doesn't want it. The only exception is freezing temps, but bad paint is still better than no paint in my humble opinion.
  19. Thanks. Did it screw right into the nut stud that came with your holster?
  20. Those SROs with the Jagerwerks B.R.O.S. is a sick setup.
  21. Thanks for the idea fellas. I might try to add a lock to my RHT. Anyone know the thread pitch for the RHT thumb screw hardware? 8-32? It will save me a trip to the hardware store. This is what I'm currently looking at on McMaster-carr: https://www.mcmaster.com/products/cam-lock-levers/cam-handles-5/
  22. I just answered this question, and others you asked, in this other thread: https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/311544-which-red-dot/?do=findComment&comment=3427439
  23. I've tried all three available heights of the leap when setting up an Aimpoint t2 on a different rifle. It's all personal preference on mount height, I personally like the lower 1/3 at 1.57". As @k2pichu mentioned, a lot of fellas like the tall amount as you have a more natural head and neck position. The tall mounts are also popular for people running night vision with devices mounted on their 12:00 handguard they want to look over. Some go as high as 2.2". You just have to know you're offset zero at different distances. A 3-yard target can have a 2-in offset that you will just have to remember. I usually just shoot steel at 12 to 20 yards so my point of aim / point of impact isn't really a big deal. The Holosun 510C comes on a mount that is set up for absolute co-witness, which would be comparable to the lowest mount you would see on an AR. You can get a Holosun riser / spacer plate to bring it up to about 1.60", which is considered lower 1/3 co-witness. This is how mine is currently set up. There might also be third party mounts, but I have no personal experience with those. I think the AEMS is it interesting option. The factory mount is a lower 1/3 co-witness. Holosun has the listed today weight at 3.9 oz. My 510C, with the spacer, weighs in at 8.93 oz. It does have a removable shroud, but I prefer to keep it on while on a long gun.
  24. I have a 507 comp on my PCC now using a Scalarworks Leap/04. It's a very lightweight setup. They currently come in lower 1/3 co-witness height at 1.57" or a higher 1.93". They used to make an lower absolute co-witness, which you can still find on the used market. Any Trijicon RMR AR mount will work for your application. As far as a 45° offset amount for your venom, this arisaka mount, using plate one or plate 7, would work. It's spendy.
  25. I was at a match recently where a shooter lost his 507 comp battery tray and screw in the middle of a steel challenge stage. We found the tray but could not find the little screw. I even took off my belt to use my magnet to sweep the ground but had no luck. I thought it would be nice to have a replacement in the range bag. I emailed holosun, with a picture of the tray removed from my optic and a second picture of the serial number. I asked to purchase the tray and screw and provided my info with the store I bought it from. They ended up sending me one at no charge.
