  1. 5.2.9 Competitors deemed by the Range Master to be significantly disabled may be given special dispensation in relation to the type and/or place- ment of their holster and related equipment, and the Range Master will remain the final authority in respect of the safety and suitability of using such equipment at USPSA matches.
  2. We do this allllll the time around here, at all sort of different clubs. Shoot one stage, stay hot, go to next stage, "Make Ready" command, then shoot second stage. Unloading everyone and reloading them takes too long, but I sometimes do that because after Make Ready, you can do what you want.
  3. I don't know how these things exist. I have no desire to shoot "Bob's semi-tactical Pistol Match" using his accompanying rulebook. THAT is the value of USPSA. That I can go to a match anywhere in the US and get the same sport with the same rules.
  4. Good god, how do you fit your finger in there?
  5. Whichever size/shape and color combination you prefer is best.
  6. Matches the purple poly coated bullets I shoot.

    Study first two stages here
  8. I don't believe it is gray at all. Re-read the rule that I quoted and apply it to the scenario.
  9. 9.4.5.3 Stacked shots (i.e. obviously shooting more than the required rounds on a target(s) while shooting other target(s) with fewer shots than specified in any string) Did he do this? If not, it's not stacking
  10. Sure it is. What if it said standing within the fault lines? Could you still start one foot in and one out? No.
  11. If the start position is inside a box, that happens to be inside of a shooting area, I think the same rules apply. If you are "faulting" outside the start box, you're not in the box.
  12. That's not correct. If the start position is "outside the shooting area" then you can be one foot in, one foot out...because you are OUT if any part of you is faulting the line. If the start position is "inside the box" then you have to be completely inside the box, otherwise you are faulting, and therefore not IN the box.
  13. Personally I think Exactly. I don't get my CROing directions from an email newsletter I voluntarily subscribe to. If they want it to be official, it has to be posted in one of the official channels, and pushed out to ROs in an official manner. I'm probably in the wrong on saying that, which is why I don't plan to work any more major matches partly because the system is so terrible and half the ROs (and RMs for that matter, don't get me started) have no idea what is going on.
  14. I was referring to the Stock 2 and its legality.
  15. It's also over weight for all of the divisions. And has a full length dust cover (although that rule is gone now, I think)
  16. I know what the rule says. That's why your above explanation makes no sense.
  17. So by that reasoning then as soon as I have one foot inside of the shooting area I'm not faulting anymore?
  18. Not dead, but dying (or at least shrinking) Very very weak participation locally and even at Area matches.
  19. He recommends tweaking the sensitivity and holding the timer closer to the gun.
  20. I tried the extended paddle on my tanfo and had the same issue. You could try taking the paddle off your gun or using a mag release from another gun...although I'd like to see a picture of your grip just to be sure you're not doing something wildly incorrect
  21. Lots of head movement going on. Also this. Should be pretty much the exact opposite in terms of forward lean. It's tough to tell in the video but I would bet you aren't gripping hard enough with the weak hand. Also the sight is dipping as you pull the trigger on quite a few of those reps. If you are working just the draw, I would like to see a lot more follow through at the end of the rep. Keep the gun out on target for an extra couple of seconds. Use that time to reflect on your grip, what you saw in the sights as you pulled the trigger, etc.
  22. You are controlling the gun very well. I think you have the speed in you already. Just have to release the beast
