  1. Thanks. How did you navigate to that page from the main USPSA site?
  2. I must be an idiot, where are you finding the draft rulebook?
  3. Less wasted money on trophies for the lame divisions.
  4. I've never had to tune any STI mags to make them work. All of my guns work properly. I'm of the opinion that it's more likely a problem with the gun than the mags if you have to spend time messing with the mags to get it to feed. I have always bought STI tubes, put in grams guts and used a Dawson or Taran basepad. Done.
  5. This post explains A LOT. I understand everything now.
  6. I think we should delete this thread and then have someone who speaks english re-write the first post, include the answer, and sticky it.
  7. I was mostly referring to this position, but now I realize you zoomed your camera in . Carry on
  8. What is so flawed about it? Looking at match results people are generally ranked in order from GM on down. I agree the classifiers don't test movement skills for the most part, but apparently that doesn't matter much. If this whole thread is about dudes who have made GM but get beat at nationals by the Super-GMs then I guess I'm one of those guys and I should feel shame, eh? Even in Chess there are GMs and Super-GMs. Most GMs have NO CHANCE to win a national or world title, but they have still earned the GM title and are better than 99% (warning: made up statistics!) of the people out there.
  9. Most of the DQable offenses are not something you can usually warn someone about. If a guy is doing a reload with his finger on the trigger and you see it, it's already a DQ, there is no warning to give. Most of the warnings I've given involve silly stuff happening during make ready (almost exclusively with hammer fired guns) or after unload and show clear, or in between stages where I try to point something out to a guy if he is oblivious to what he's doing (like doing reloads right on the 179 degree line every time, or something like that) If you're doing that 179 degree reload during the stage, yelling something at the shooter to distract him is only going to make it worse
  10. The plates appear to be very close in some locations. Remember the minimum distance is 23 ft
  11. That doesn't make any sense. Raising the HHF doesn't make the classifiers test a shooters total ability either.
  12. Not really, because the field is so weak you can win a DM title at indoor nationals in a seldom shot division with relative ease and still be an A class shooter in terms of skills.
  13. The playing field was previously not level?
  14. There were two people above 95% at the last nationals. Ben, who won, and Gutt. Take everyone else's G cards away!
  15. Buddy of mine was forced to reshoot a standards stage at Production Nationals 2015 because the ROs were counting shots on their fingers then comparing to the timer count and had a discrepency. He called me over as they were discussing it and I was going to argue for him but they had already told people to paste so he had to reshoot anyway. Got a M/NS on the reshoot, which sucks. We made sure the ROs were corrected after that.
  16. Those guys weren't C class shooters when they got their seven figure sponsorship deals. They had already put in work for years.
  17. https://forums.brianenos.com/forum/10-what-i-like/
  18. Not since they have updated the hit factors, no. I was replying to the post that said it was shot 600+ times with no 100s on file
  19. I have hundo'd Can You Count multiple times so that can't be correct. Eye of the Tiger is a hard one in Production because you have to go slow and get A's to score well shooting Minor.
  20. But do you need a clear front sight focus for this shot you are referring to?
  21. oops, I guess I haven't been paying attention
  22. Vogel ended his streak. I guess he had better things to do
  23. All of the fixed time classifier HHFs used to be all Alphas, for every division. They have since been adjusted to more realistic values. I've shot two of them so far and they are clearly much easier now.
  24. I liked mine, but it was not reliable. I know other people have issues with accuracy with some of them. A new barrel and a new extractor seems to help. If yours works I guess you are doing better than most
