Will it fit in the IDPA box??? What about the pro model?? They both are under 43oz with the mag. but it has to fit in the box??????? The pro model is 8.7 long 5.9 height and 1.3 width the idpa box is 8.75 long 6 height and 1.6 width So on paper it should fit but before i spend $1500 msrp i want to be sure!

Anyone know if the steel q5 will fit in the idpa box?

Thanks guys aircooled6racer was right the load was too weak. I finally chrono'd the ammo and it was around 790fps way under powered. I bumped the powder up to 3.1 gn and its between 850-870 fps just in pf. My Cartradge length is 1.140. I was shooting a Walther q5 previously and that's was my old charge, funny that a shorter barrel was actually faster than the longer 34, must be a tighter barrel. I was was looking at the cool fire trainer for dry fire anybody out there ever used it? Is it worth $400!!! Thanks guys

i put in a buddies sns coated bullets at around 1.150 oal and no issues so ill do the plunk test and run 1.150 c how it goes

I recently bought a glock 34 gen 5 and the bullets are jamming in the chamber. I am running 1.140 lenght 147 grain RN plated extream bullets. I plan to lenghten the bullets to 1.150 and see how they feed. Just wondering if someone had a prefered seating lenght also what loads and powder do u prefer. i will be using titegroupe starting load 2.8 grains and chrono from there. looking to be at around 125 power factor avererage 860 fps.

The limited custom is the one on their web site that looks legal 42 oz. is a coned barrel legal for idpa?741566603792

Thanks Dazhi, main reason i want to run esp is because i have a budy who runs ssp and i dont want to be in the same division. What about a recoil reduction guid rod and spring from sprinco, i was looking at that. Also did u run the stock sights? Grips did u change them?

I'm looking to buy an all metal 9mm for IDPA ESP division. I decided on the Tangfoglio but i want to be sure the limited pro was IDPA legal. I would also like to run it in ESP so if there are any mods that are legal i would love to hear what i can do to it. Also what holster do you recommend for IDPA. Thanks!!!

TF base pads weighs 1 ounce, and TF mag well weighs 1.3 ounces IDPA legal.

I just completed my hand loads for my Q5. I tested a number of different powders, Titegroup, 231, unique, power pistol, and wsf. I was going for the powder with the most consistent FPS. I tested 135 grain plated flat nose and 147 grain plate round nose bullets with Winchester primers my length is 1.145. I found that 231 was the most constant with 135 grain ammo. With 147 grain bullets titegroup was the most consistent. The most inconsistent powder was WSF by far. I settled on the titegroup because the 147s felt like they had less recoil. I'm shooting IDPA and need to make a 125 power factor. With 2.9 grains of titegroup my FPS was 875 at 75 degrees and 900 at 95 degres. I'm happy with the accuracy of the load although after reading this forum a may shorten the length a bit. I did have one double feed after about 800 rounds, my guess is It was a fluke.
