  1. Is it all of the screws or just one? Have you looked at the inside of the frame and made sure the tips of the screws where are "penned" over or ground flush preventing them from backing out?
  2. I think (just me) that might be to high. I have mine set so that the bottom of the pull is about 3 inch shorter then my extended down hand. this allows for the full range of motion and positive keep swing of the handle.
  3. ^^^ LOL^^^^ I will try harder to answer the questions of life that are written down that those unwilling to seek can't find with out asking on-line.
  4. Or men that are not afraid to read one to figure out what the odd tool is used for other then pick both nostrals at the same time.
  5. MIght be more than 50 of us there I'll bet some people will stick around another day and just use their Production gun again... Umm, I am not sure how that is going to work.. Their production guns wont have the optic, I guess they could have a second slide with it mounted. I would guess that it will be more likely that would be an entirely separate rig from what they shot in production. And based on the fact that there was not enough collected data points for the BOD to talk about CO moving forward at that time (Nov 10th) it is still Cart Horse situation for scheduling a Nats for a Division that is not official. Pulling resources from Production Nats and losing a option day for shooters is just bad call. And that is just my opinion.
  6. I wonder if the company that makes the overlays is ISO certified? I know this is not a Critical dimension for a life saving device, but now that these plastic overlays are used as an official measuring device. Should USPSA have some recourse to ensure consistency? The other thing to consider in this ruling is that the heel of the pistol/gun still needs to be above the top of the belt per 5.2.7.2, and well all the OTHER stuff that falls under 5.2.7 .
  7. Why would there even be a Nationals for CO, it is not even a final approved division yet. That is just a waste of time and money to have a day of range/staff time for ~ 50 shooters. Now maybe after the fist year that it is a real division sure add it to the mix. Move L10 with Production, and CO into a combined match.
  8. Both my TruBore and my Razorcat do the same thing. I think it is just how the machanics of the recoil works.
  9. It will be at the Fredericksburg Rod and Gun Club in Fredericksburg, VA.
  10. Damn it, Now I have to think about joining IDPA just to shoot what I know will be a great match....Damn it...
  11. I use OxyClean in my wet media. just a tiny bit along with LemiShine and Luiquid car wash/wax and it is great.
  12. Bamboo, I agree, but is I want to use this for Limited Minor, it would be. and there are a lot of people that have 140 mags for other calibers that might want to check this.
  13. So got the mags, looks good. I got one 170 and one 140 fitted for STI grips, in 9mm. The 170 will fit 29 with the uplula jamming them down, cant get 30 in there yet. It also fits loose in the USPSA Mag Gauge maybe it really is 170mm and not the 171.25 allowed. The 140 will fit 23 with the uplula jamming them down, the issue is it does not "fit" in the mag gauge with out pressing it down, this might be an issue Per Appendix E1. I will need to contact MBX on this and see if there is a easy fix other then sanding my New mags down.
  14. Well, So far I am impressed to say the least. Placed the order and less then 15 min I had shipping info. off to a great start. Plan on running these in my STI TruBore and Limcat Razorcat both in 9mm Major.
  15. The Wax leaves a nice coat on the brass that take the place of media polish you would use in corn cob or walnut media. makes flaring of the powder funnel smother.
  16. Greg, I towel dry out of the separator, then put them on a cookie sheet and pop them in the over at 140 for about an hour (sometimes longer if I forget) this gets all the water out of the pocket and inside of the brass. I was having the same issues when I first moved to wet media. The other thing I do is never use the brass you just cleaned, I keep about 4-5K clean and when I load a 1000 I clean some to back fill the used brass.
  17. I also have not gotten this yet, I emailed Kathy in July on the status of the shipping, and I was told. "As soon as S & W sends us the knives we will send to you. Kathy" So I am guessing that S&W is the hold up on this, they must have run out of boxes to ship them in?
  18. How about we let DNROI publish the provisional rules for CO and then have a rules discussion? It is not like this weekend there are going to be 100K shooters at local matches fighting to be the first CO GM.
  19. Zhunter, where are you seeing a 33oz. weight limit? Or any rules for this division?
  20. So, a local club match still sends in Paper scores and pays via check, this leads to a huge delay in posting scores (if they get posted at all) not because the club did not send them, but well... because, whatever.... and stuff, and junk. While I know that there are a few hold out clubs like this one, and the "trust" of the USPSA web site was one such reported issue, along with credit card security, I am assuming from the Hack of 2014, How do we get these clubs to move forward, Some clubs just don't trust them there computer thingies. Damn it a PENCIL works all the time... I got me a abacus I can add and divide. So now I can take this story and look to Jake and ask... How as the club liaison, can we bridge this gap. We live and shoot in 2015, instant is not fast enough, and younger shooters want to see the scores and posted classifiers as the last round leaves the barrel, but we have these hold out clubs, for whatever the reason, be it trust, or computer phobia are not playing the game at the speed of technologies today. Can we start a path to force compliance with electronic scoring? How much longer can we support paper score sheets going to HQ, and staff time to enter that info?
