I'm just curious how much smaller the slide racker was than the dovetail, thinking about getting one for my shadow.

What do you guy recommend for mounting a Cmore slide ride on a SP-01 shadow. I'm not finding a lot of mounts out there and come to find out the czechmate is milled or recessed to the czechmate mount so it would be off centered on the sp-01.

Great to hear, I always planned on running a heavy hammer spring on my open gun thinking it might help slow the unlocking/slide speed and a tuned Cz with a 26lb hammer spring would still probably yeild a sub 2.5lb trigger pull.

Very interesting, I see wolf spring sells EX hammer springs all the way up to 26lb. If the weight on the end of the barrel was a huge problem wouldn't people running suppressors also go through barrel faster? Which they probably don't go through the round count most of the people on here do. I also think that running a 26lb hammer spring would equal more muzzle rise but couldn't you just over come that by adding more gas to the comp. What we need is someone shooting with a slow mo camera to test both ends of the spectrum like a 13lb hammer spring VS a 26lb or something.

Now they just need to get around to making a full sized comp for the shadow models.

I did notice that there is a lot of frame mounted one and that's why it got me wondering. But like I said for me sight life doesn't matter because I have no plans on competing just having a open style gun to play with. I would think a frame mounted dot POA vs POI would be off where a milled slide would be much better.

I was wondering if there was any upside to a frame mounted reflex sight like the cmore vs a reflex milled into the slide. I've wanted to build a Cz open gun but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Now that I'm looking into it again wondering what would be the better setup for a reflex sight. Since there's a couple reflex's with a lifetime warranty will just take sight life out of the equation.

Was it extremely dirty behind the extractor? Sometimes that can cause issues and all it needs is a good cleaning.

Pull the extractor and look over the claw for any chips. I would replace the stock extractor spring with a EX powered one from czc but some fitting my be required.

I was thinking my shadow runs 100% with the Dan Wesson 7.5lb hammer spring and feds. But anything under the 11.5 makes the SA to mushy for my liking with the comp hammer.

If by striker you mean firing pin than yes. Real guns don't have strikers

Yes. If you don't have a lifter in the lower than the 75b upper won't work unless you remove the plunger or add a lifter to the sear cage. Either are fine just depends if you want the fbp or not.

When's the last time you pulled the extractor and cleaned behind it?

Good point I should have frased that better. I'm thinking the full sized steel guns like the 85c and so on.

I think of the different triggers I have tired the PCR trigger was the furthest rearward was kind of like the black recurve trigger but thinner.. I installed a pre travel screw in a PCR trigger combined with a hybrid disco from CGW and it makes a big difference in the reach of the DA. Pre travel screw wouldn't be Production legal tho as you can see it.

Hmmm I've never weight them just assumed they were lighter, I run a modified version on the plastic ones made thin and some grip tape.

Between milling the slide and swapping to the normal lighter parts like the aluminum thin grips, shadow thin safety's, and rami slide release you'd probably make weight right there.

I can tell you it fits the Cz 75 shadow idk about the sp-01 but I believe it should.

Does the slide have to lock back in idpa or could you drop the mag when the last round is chambered?

Ya there just stock plastic grips ground flat and backs are filled with epoxy, than a layer of skateboard tape.

Here's my shadow with full length skateboard tape you might has seen around here.
