  1. I may pick up some n310 or titewad to play with but if the lower recoil doesnt transfer to better times/scores it would be a waste of time and money i guess.
  2. Ya i know. Put the data through quickload and could tell the pressure change from .1gr is a lot thats why it has to meter well to even be considered. Also if it doesnt fell any different than the same amount of say bullseye, red dot, titegroup it also probably wouldnt be worth considering.
  3. I was courios how many of you use or have tired this combo 147gr + n310. Im always playing around with loads and was thinking this load looks good on paper if n310 meters very well and i load really load. Thoughts on how it compared to your other minor loads?
  4. Hmm ya must just be pushing them to slow. Ive shot 168gr swc .750 long out of my 9's and there fine but if you push them to slow they tumble.
  5. How long is the bullet? what diameter bullets are you running? .355/356/358 What bore you bore slug at?
  6. Are both guns shadows? if not that's comparing apples and oranges. CGW offers a couple different disco and the that requires fitting will have a shorter reset than the Pre B everytime. Another interesting note is CGW is currently working on changing the angles of the disco to lower the DA another 1/2 to 1lb
  7. Rocksett and crush washer failed quicker than the 272 so set screw it is.
  8. ya i've thought about the heating rates too, kind of wanted to avoid the set screw but that's what i'm doing next if this doesn't work.
  9. So i've had a SJC 11 port compensator that has been a headache and a half keeping mounted, at first the comp was contacting the barrel so I sent it off and had it milled so it was not contacting the barrel bushing or frame but still the loctite only holds 50rds max. Have tired permatex red, loctite 271 & 272 with primer with no success. My question is how much torch should the compensator have on it at it's final position? Currently it has zero when lined up there's no load on the threads and I'm thinking that a big part of the issue. I've also contacted loctite and was surprised how fast loctite looses strength with any heat so I bought some rocksett but testing that on a bolt without any load on the threads came off with little force. So what do you guys think? I've now made a crush washer and i'm going to test it with either 272 or rocksett once I figure out how much torch I should put on the comp.
  10. n310 but it's not for a new reloader or the faint of heart.
  11. I think the standard railway would work just fine without a raiser. I run a 8moa on my open gun but I think I would go a little smaller on the scorpion.
  12. ya that's kind of what I was thinking too, if you really want to produce more gas step down to a 115gr bullet so you can get above 10gr of powder
  13. Just a quick picture I took off my phone to show ya the inside of the open style magwell
  14. I don't know if the scorpion barrel slugs the same as most CZ pistols but if it does you might have better accuracy with .3565 or larger bullets.
  15. I have the CGW style magwell, it's made by springer precision and resold by CGW. Tho CGW does cut the aluminum mainspring plug to accept the factory mag break where you have to buy the aluminum mag brake from springer. I have the limited/open style one and so far it seems pretty good going to run it for the first time at a match tomm.
  16. I do mostly heavy low reps seems to work pretty good im at Coc 2.5 right now, but i wouldnt just stick to one thing either. I also like to do holds and every once in a while a complete burn out. Grippers arent the only option either you can do things like finger tip pushups or one handed hangs. As you get up to the heavier stuff a little chulk can really help the gripper from moving around in your hand.
  17. From the pictures above I really like the width of the DeltaPoint Pro but couldn't see trading it for my C-more.
  18. You don't have to use that mag brake for there magwell if that's what your doing. CGW offers a modified version of there mainspring plug so you can use the stock mag break, or I just put a cut out in the mag break to go around the plug. The CGW is probably the best of the 3 options.
  19. Free shipping is a really good option as it can be super pricey to ship these targets.
  20. No idea if the discount applies to the targets or not. Looks like 62.5 cents per target without any discount.
