  1. I have a docter on my open gun , until now hold's up well and a buddy of mine had one on his open gun for years ( slide mounted) . I don't see more dot movement ( i can track the dot every shot never even leaves the glass)than with my old set up 90 deg Cmore and dot is even closer to the bore . Docter is a special IPSC edition 7 moa oke mine is on a 2011 but mounted similar to the glock mos .
  2. Here in holland we have a lot of reliability problems with SVI's , almost every new gun has been back to the european distributor ( most of them several times and stil not running right ).Saw a guy with a brand new ( 7000 euro Open SV ) go trough a stage at our match like he was shooting a bolt action ( he had to rack him for almost every shot ). He had to borrow someone's old SPS gun to finish the match .
  3. I have used HS6 , SP2 , 3n37 and N350 . Found SP2 and HS6 to be really dirty . N350 was my favorite using a 124 grain bullet , we can't use 115 grain for IPSC major so for those i don't know . Load them several times never had issues , gun always runs flawless . I don't case gauge just don't see the reason for doing this , my cartridges must fit in my gun don't care if they fit in a gauge . I also don't care if my car key fits in my neighbours car
  4. Taking your watch of takes about 2 seconds don't see the problem in that ? And if you are using it for yourself it is not in the way . Really like the shotmaxx, i just don't use the spy mode .
  5. I think CK wil be better , not because of the parts used but simply because it is a more handfitted gun by someone who knows what he is doing . Not saying STI is a bad gun but it is mass production , i have a full custom made by one of the best gunsmiths here in holland . And i can realy feel the difference with a standard Trubore mutch tighter fit . My gun does have a STI frame and barrel .
  6. Yep they are and i also havent broken one yet , so maybe there strong enough and you don't realy need a billet one that costs double the price .
  7. I have one and i only use it in practice , sometimes during matches but don't use the spy mode .
  8. In my opinion if it was the cmore both batteries should have been low in voltage , i think you just got bad batteries did you already tried a different brand ?
  9. You just can not beat a pair of Sordins with gelpads , i have the pro X . I use them in practice or when working at the range , for matches i use custom molded in ear plugs with double dampening . Don't like to wear mufs when i am schooting matches
  10. I know you guys in the USA are not using the Metric System a lot but i really can not imagine that a sight moves a few centimeters .Because that is about an inch ( 2.54 centimeter is one Inch ).
  11. I am running 1.188 in my STI mags with spacers , never had any issues with the mags run 100 % . With aredondo or metal spacers .
  12. I have this one is a special edition , made for mounting on a IPSC open gun . But i can only find him on the site of docter germany . I think is the same as a normal one that has been " bullet proofed" .
  13. I have a Docter sight 2 mounted on the slide of my open 9 major works great . This is the special IPSC model made for mounting on handguns ( and is supposed to already have stronger electronics ) . Don't know if this one is available in the USA . A shooting buddy of mine had one on his open 38 super for years never had a problem with it .
  14. The feeder Die has two positions to put the 3 bearing balls in one for short and one for longer bullets .
  15. I know its not .40 but i load my 9 major rounds very long (1.188)to get the chamber pressure down and getting as much powder as possible in them to work my comp so yes increasing the OAL will decrease chamber pressure . Resulting in less velocitie if the powder charge is the same .
  16. Maybe.....but he can measure that split hair with that micrometer...... If he knows how to use it yes he can , micrometers are extreamely temperature sensitive . If you don't hold it the right way you can flush your measurements down the drain .
  17. Have one on my open gun , looks and works great you can adjust reach and angle to your preference .
  18. Load up some 38 super and shoot the Les Bear !
  19. If you hear the motor run but the plate is not moving its the clutch , if you dont hear anything humming it can be the motor or the switch .
  20. Do you mean it sticks in the hopper or in the powderdie ? If in the hopper than yes it could be static .
  21. My casefeeder hopper (Rl550) holds at least 300/400 cases before the clutch begins to slip , the mr bulletfeeder collator does too.
  22. I realy liked the feel of the recoilmaster but it died on me during a match so now i have a FLGR .
  23. Your right for sizing you don't change the die for special er magnum , dit not think abouth that sorry .
