Here's a little project I've been playing with: I still need to shoot it Monday with the new sights but I thing I'm going to need to take some off the front (it came from a Desert Eagle .50!)

This was a fun classifier; after everyone was done I shot it again for fun sitting down and was actually .3 sec slower

There are some who shoot 9mm in a .40 slide without issues, I don't simply because I have a safe full of 9mm slides through which to shoot 9mm.

Do yourself (and your pistol) a favor and don't shoot 9 Major without a comp. The comp holds the slide closed longer an dissipates a lot of energy which would otherwise be directed into your pistol and your arms. It's not about being 'man enough' to handle it, I don't suspect the barrel lugs would survive a single match.
