  1. Having a monster grip is certainly helpful in controlling your pistol, but I find the Captains of Crush are really only good for bragging rights and hurting yourself . Hard manual labor is the best path to a strong grip: gardening, digging, kneading bread, etc. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

  3. TC, I hear what you're saying but I think that approach creates more problems than it solves; the SA break is right where you want it already so leave it alone, the DA is all in the disco, so the thing to do would be to shorten it from the rear pivot hole. I discussed this idea to it's extreme with a friend who wants to design a CZ SIRT pistol with a DAO trigger which mimics the SA stroke. I'll see if I can find the picture I made. 4. Trade locally, I'm sure there's someone in your club who'd trade a kidney for Titegroup! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  5. I just ordered a thousand to play with although don't really have any suitable powder (Clays would be pretty hairy ) so I guess I need to do some horse tradin'!
  6. That depends on the bullet, nothing longer than 1.170" to avoid mag issues, but anywhere from 1.100" should work. I use 1.135" as my to go for Production loads.
  7. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000S5SCPM?pc_redir=1401704069&robot_redir=1 The CZ75 grips with right out of the box with small frames but take a little fitting/stretching to work on large frames
  8. I like your thinking Alma, what about: it fits in the box, no comp, no dot, no thumbrest, no racker, no magwell striker fired/selective fire and you're good to go?
  9. ...I changed my mind, I don't know anything for sure anymore...

  11. I've heard sights can break if they touch the slide anywhere besides the dovetail; you should check the clearances when you install a rear sight.

    P09 Barrel OD

I'm trying to gather some intel for a friend and was hoping someone with a P09 in 9mm would help me out: I need to know the OD of the barrel (I suspect it's 12.75mm, but hope it's 14mm). Thank you
  13. Here's your 500 right here! http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=196471#entry2178655
  14. Yes, plus the chopped dust cover of course.
  15. That's pretty awesome staudacher, do you know all the particulars on his pistol/load?
  16. CZinSC, The Shadow slide will not go on with the lifter arm in place, you can tell it's not a factory gun because it says "Shadow" not "SP-01 Shadow" and yes, it's a stupid and difficult to enforce rule which rewards cheaters and penalizes honest shooters.
  17. EAA is an importer which imports a few makes of European firearms, but on these forums the name is synonymous with Tanfoglio, the Italian CZ 75 platform pistol. I am unaware of an aluminum framed Tanfoglio, but I know they are made in polymer and steel. EAA also imports Sarsılmaz pistols, a Turkish CZ 75 platform pistol, which I believe are available with an alloy frame. Maybe you could link to a picture of one you like?
  18. That depends which caliber, got a 9x25 Dillon? 40 open A .40 case full might need a heavier bullet to make major, but if it's the only option give it a try . It sounds like you can always trade it to a rifle guy if it doesn't work out.
