  1. I don't think I shoot any faster shooting minor than major. Minor give a clear advantage in the lower capacity divisions like SS and revolver where minor gets a significant capacity advantage.

  3. The stock hammer springs are ~17-18# and I'm not sure about the recoil spring, maybe 14-16#
  4. CZ one works, so does one for a Jericho 941
  5. That Trubor looks like an abortion, which is probably why they're selling it on an auction site...
  6. I like 10gr of SP2 under a 95gr bullet for steel; super flat and crazy loud!
  7. Welcome to the forum! San Diego here
  8. I've run them loose, but if it makes you feel better you can use loctite
  9. Is your guide rod long enough to extend into the comp? If so you can leave it loose
  10. Why do you need to spend money? which pistols are you talking about?
  11. There are volumes here on 38 vs 9mm for Open (here's a recent one:http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=213502&hl=+38%20+vs), but I can tell you I own a dozen Open guns, only three are 38, one of which is being rebarreled in 9mm as we speak
  12. Surely there's someone in your club with a rig they'd be willing to lend you for a few months, no?
  13. Even extended firing pins in CZs are not long enough to touch the hammer and primer at the same time, so I don't think that's possible... Old SA revolvers had a firing pin on the hammer, which could impact the primer if dropped on the spur.
  14. I've used it with 115s and just barely made major before it gave up and started losing velocity. Lots of better options.
  15. Really? I thought I remembered using one... So many guns.
  16. I agree it sounds like high primers, but SPP wouldn't hurt.
  17. Awesome! When can I try it?!?
  18. I'd love to try one if anyone is tired of theirs
  19. It's a 38 super comp (9mm slide and 38 barrel, so no regular super), 5" barrel, two port cone comp, four 1/8" holes in a V through the comp and three 5/32 holes straight up in the barrel (they were 1/8" in the picture, but I opened them up last week). It weights 42oz with a 9.4oz slide.
