  1. It doesn't have the internal ridges of the 9mm, so the rounds can stack flatter, as far as I know. Bingo
  2. It still needs some holes to flatten it out, but I think with a light slide and three holes it's going to be a hot ticket!
  3. It has a different design than a CZ and honestly I can't see how it adversely affects performance.
  4. I understand your frustration, if you can get a refund and get out of the platform it sounds like that's the way for you to go, if you can't I'd be happy to help you work through your issues.
  5. Different eyes work in different ways, that's why they make adjustable sights. If you can shoot a tight group, move it to the middle.
  6. Sight pushers don't seem to work well with CZs, I use a brass punch and a sturdy vice. Putting the slide in the freezer helps too.
  7. I just got back from the range where I tried out my newest Tanfo Open creation: I opened up the first port of the comp just a hair, you can see it here on the left compared to the factory three port comp and my modified two port comp: I think I'm on the right track I'm going to drill three holes straight up like the one on the right, but I haven't decided what to do yet with the weight of the slide...
  8. You're asking for your 9mm Gold Team right? Unless you ream the throat you'll have to load pretty short with JHP, so I agree RN will be better for you, and given all the holes 135s may actually work nicely for you. I have some load data, which powders do you have.
  9. Do you have any other CZs? It might be worth it to try a different trigger bar, or pick up another.
  10. You can get 21+1 in a 40 mag, I'm surprised you get 20 in a 9mm mag, I'll have to try it.
  11. The short one is a Stock II slide, 38 supercomp with a two port comp, (4) 1/8" holes in a V pattern and (3) 5/32" holes straight up. I got the long one ready to shoot: Limited slide, 9mm with three port comp, no holes for the first trip but will likely end up with (3) 3/16" holes straight up; I'll start with 1/8" holes, then open them up after I chrono.
  12. I'm taking these two to the range next week
  13. I'm guessing you'll be ~10gr for 170pf, what did you load up?
  14. I did chop the dust cover of my TS: I only cut it back to the serial number, an FFL 07 can file an ATF Form 3311.4 - Application for Alternate Means of Identification of Firearm(s) (Marking Variance) to legally relocate the serial number, but I didn't want to bother. The other thing which happens if you cut back further than I did you get a gap between the frame and slide. I'm thinking about doing three ball cuts in the dust cover to lighten it further.
  15. If the trigger is a priority get the TS for sure, the best Tanfo trigger job will be close to a factory TS trigger, but a TS with a trigger job will make 2011 guys drool
  16. My primary focus is Open, so I recently decided to sell my Limited guns, reloading gear, mags, ect. Beyond shooting a handful of 40 rounds through a 10mm barrel I haven't done any testing on the issue.
