  1. Here's a thread with lots of discussions on the matter: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=199422&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  2. Here's a Tanfoglio/CZ Limted gun comparison I did some time ago:
  3. If you want to shoot USPSA Limited, the Limited in .40 is the way to go, it has a full dust cover and cone barrel which both mitigate muzzle flip.
  4. 140mm 75SA 40 mags should hold 14 no problem.
  5. With a SAO a light hammer spring only makes the break mushy, I suggest the stock hammer spring with the RP TRS from CGW. I've done a 2# trigger with the stock spring.
  6. How is this not sold?!? http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=219898&hl=
  7. "beveling the lower forward edge of the wing" Maybe we're using different vocabulary, but I've only ever taken a file to the wings/hooks once and that disco became trash in short order. The picture above has a red line on the back of the wedge, which is the place I file the disco to fit it.
  8. Yes, they're a direct swap. All mine have the wide paddle, otherwise I'd take measurements for you.
  9. I've never seen a Limited Pro with an ambi safety before, but it certainly looks the same as the GT:
  10. Also remember to drop the charge when you shorten the OAL, a deeper seated bullet generally correlates with higher pressure and possibly higher velocity.
  11. If you have a bunch of guns and just want to add something cool to the stable, the 75SA fits the bill. It sounds like you already know it's not optimal for USPSA (you'd be shooting Limited minor with a 9mm or L10 Major with a .40), so I'd say go for it! It's a great value and with some springs and a race hammer you can have a sweet 2# trigger. You can also turn it into an Open gun like I did!
  12. I also rip the tags off mattresses and shoot 9mm in 38s
  13. It is the common idea, but there have been reports that soaking in water or WD-40 doesn't work, as the primers have protective film on them. I have not tried that myself, but people have, and they reported negative results. I might try it too. Both flattened out without fanfare
  14. Ask and ye shall receive: ATF Form 3311.4 - Application for Alternate Means of Identification of Firearm(s) (Marking Variance)
  15. I'd believe 100 primers going off in a Mason jar would much more dramatic than in a primer tube. Kinda like lighting off 10gr of powder laying on the floor vs packed behing a bullet

I've got a project in mind using a 6" barrel and the full length of a TS slide, taking inspiration for lightening from this pair built by a friend on the other side of the world:
  18. Before leaving for work I dropped a primer in a cup of water and another in a cup of acetone, I'll smack them both with a hammer tonight.
  19. If you want to throw primed brass away safely you can soak it in water to neutralize the primer.
