  1. It depends on the frame size, if it's 9x19 or 9x21 it's probably small frame, so it would fit a new small frame, but not a new large frame. Measure the barrel OD, 14mm is small frame, 15mm is large frame.
  2. I've never checked it, but holding it up to the light I can't see daylight all the way around, how much gap should I have? A sheet of paper?
  3. Sorry Justaute, that not true either The TS barrel (advertised 5.4" by CZUSA/CZC, but 5.1" but CZUB) actially measures just 5.28" including the feed ramp. Here's a response I received from CZ USA in a long email chain:
  4. You can see in this picture I took the bottom corner off the sight, I didn't want to modify the slide and use a low hammer (I find the factory Shadow hammer at least equal to the race hammers, and the particular one I have is better).
  5. The embarrassing part is I just found another Shadow Target in the safe...
  6. TS barrel in a TS frame is no problem, TS barrel in 75 frame needs a little trim at the front of the lug.
  7. It's nice to see it pays to shoot a clean match: no mikes, no NSs, no malfunctions. http://oceansidepistol.com/scores/show_scores.php?match=ipsc/2015-09-24.txt
  8. This is what it looked like last time it was together, but at the moment it's in pieces waiting for it's next life to start
  9. I want to share the mod which helped me fall for the WSM II all over again: I used one of the two hole spacers which come with the holster and used hot glue to keep it in place. The grip used to give when drawing as the slide pushed slightly out of battery on the muzzle platform, but no more!
  10. I've always shot major through my TSs, I recently sold all my Limited guns so I only have one TS left at the moment and it's a 9 major Open gun.
  11. When removing metal, you can go as fast as you feel comfortable: sand paper is the safest, an angle grinder is the fastest, a belt sander is in between. I recommend Emory cloth, if that's goining too slow you can always step up to a belt sander, but just remember: it's a lot easier to remove metal than to put it back
  12. No, but I'm pretty certain the Lim Pros roll out of the factory that way.
  13. 720p, 240FPS, narrow field is the ticket!
  14. Yes, I've bought a Limited Pro which came with the wide single:
  15. I realize that, but I had 135s in both so I though the results would be interesting holding all things constant. I'm really enjoying my 165gr 9mm Production loads.
  16. It the additional cost of bullets/brass isn't an issue you could certainly be happy with a 40 minor Production gun, but I did an experiment when I had a Stock II in 40 and 9 where I used the same bullet weight (135), same charge and the 40 had significantly more recoil at a lower velocity.
  17. Dave, it sounds like you have your heart set on the Match, but I'm begging you to listen to the guy with more than a dozen custom Tanfo/CZ Open guns: you will not be happy with it. The weld on magwell for the match is stainless vs aluminum on the Limited, the rail adds even more weight, there's no checkering on the frame, you can't remove the barrel once you add the comp. I've been down most roads, so I'm giving you pearls here
