  1. The Limited Pro has a single sided safety, probably so it fits in the box.
  2. No need to argue, the rule book is pretty clear. Appendix D4, 21.6: "Any other components which are externally visible may ONLY be replaced with OFM parts which are offered on the specific model of gun or another approved gun from the same manufacturer except as specifically clarified below"

I'm guessing Stuart's is 40-42oz w/o mag, compared to the 49 oz Czechmate.
  4. Shouldn't be a problem, I'm in CA also and I've mailed a gun directly to an out of state FFL for repairs and they mailed it directly back to me, no receiving FFL required. Just don't send any preban mags with it
  5. The Limited Pro has a left side safety which is identical to the Gold Team safety, the Stock II/III have a right side safety identical to the right side safety, but there isn't a Production legal pistol I'm aware of with both.
  6. Welcome to the forum Bob! First thing you need to know is Production, Limited, ect. are DIVISIONS; shooters are CLASSIFIED as U,D,C,B,A,M, and GM. Your Beretta is perfect for Production except for the aftermarket mag release; you could shoot it as is in Limited or Limited Ten, both Minor, but I would make it Production legal and short there where it's most competitive.
  7. You're shooting a 40 Open gun with a compensator right? I think some above are confused on that point.
  8. Autocomp is cleaner, but I prefer HS6 for 9 major, never tried it in 40.
  9. As long as each shipment sells out immediately they have no incentive to change.
  10. I've never dealt with them for something like this, but I suggest you email Sharon Lacy (Sharon@eaacorp.com) she's been pretty responsive to me. If she doesn't get you an answer you could try getting hold of the owner: Keith Bernkrant.
  11. I think the slide is pretty much shot. I've been brainstorming ideas though.
  12. Are you planning to host USPSA/steel there? Or just stand and shoot? Good lighting and ventilation are the key to a good indoor range. Effective acoustic insulation is nice too.
  13. Atlas- how do you think of all this neat stuff? Don't you sleep at night or what? My wife says my mind is like a six burner stove with at least one gun pot simmering at all times
  14. You shouldn't be using the crimp die in an attempt to fit the case gauge, you only want to take the bell out. The reason you're not getting the rounds into the case gauge is the oal. Your bullets have a long shoulder, I wouldn't be surprised if you have to seat to 1.050 to get them to pass the EGW gauge. It's not a "right/wrong" issue, it's a matter of making ammo which works in the chamber you want to fire it through. The gauge is obviously tighter than your barrels, how far undersized do you want to go?
