Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. My Shadow sets off everything with a 8.5# mainspring. I've never tried Tula or Wolf but it is gtg on CCI & Win primers including factory. I got a bulk purchase deal through work on Speer Lawman 147gr factory ammo and I've blown through nearly 3k rds without failure. It's a little hotter than I'd load but it was cheaper than what I'd pay for components so I've got more time to shoot not sitting at my bench Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I ordered 2 for myself along with a few extras. I figure I'll put them up in the classifieds and divide the cost of the international shipping and currency conversion fees between all of them to make it more cost effective. If you're looking for one PM me and I'll hold it back for you before posting them for sale. I haven't figured out the exact cost but it will work out to be less than a LPA or HAJO around the same or just slightly more than the Zendl
  3. I've already widened and lowered my stock shadow sight so my only real gain would've getting rid of the clunky garbage truck profile of the stock sight. I never understood how they can take a gun with such good clean lines and decide a sight that looks like it came off a highpoint was a good plan. I really want to go adjustable since I'm playing with new loads from 124-165gr and don't want to have to change fronts repeatedly until l decide what load I'm sticking with
  4. About how much do they run? I'm guessing shipping to US would be about the same as Canada. Also about how long does it take to get to you? Thanks
  5. I'm looking to replace my Shadow fixed rear with an adj. and have read the +/- of what's out there (LPA, zend, Kensight, Hajo etc) and think the new Shadow 2 looks like it may be the best option to try. The only problem is I can't find one. Anyone know who actually makes it? My backup idea is the HTAC fixed and open the notch a bit. Any ideas

    Two questions

I concur with shooterDrew on the main spring plugs. The flat and lanyard loop main spring plugs are the same aside from the extended loop on the lanyard option. The CZ75 FPB system is comprised of parts located in the slide and frame of the pistol. If you had the FPB parts in the slide removed. The FPB liter arm and spring would still be present in the frame (inside the sear cage). Typically the FPB lifter arm is replaced with a spacer when the FPB parts are removed. As far as i understand it It is possible for the FPB lifter arm to cause problems if it is not removed. To follow on the above; you can see the space that has replaced the FPB lifter arm in the sear cage. Not to hijack the thread but if you remove the FPB do you then use the shadow firing pin?
  7. I installed a set today, 5 min of file work and a total of 20 min start to finish. Tomorrow I'm doing the 10X bushing. Soaking in PB Blaster now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Out of stock already, wonder how long until they get more?
  9. I've got an extra LH Ghost Stinger that I was going to put up for sale. If you're interested PM me
  10. I haven't tried the factory sear yet but both single and double action work with the slide offSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Well, that solved the issue. The old 85 sear functioned but was way off on fitting for the safety. Just out of curiosity I tried a spare Shadow sear I had in my bin. I had to do very minimal fitting, about 4 or 5 strokes with the stone and it is perfect. Everything works as it should. 5.5# DA and under 2# SA with an 11# MS. Should be fun once I learn to find the dot on my draw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. For background I have an older surplus CZ85 that I built for carry optics. I just completed assembly after the sight milling and refinishing. I got the pistol reassembled but I'm having something strange that I wondered if anyone has encountered before. I've built a few CZ's now and never had any issues. When the slide is off everything functions perfectly the trigger, safety etc. all as it should be. When I put the slide on and rack it nothing functions other than I can put the safety on. The trigger is frozen with the safety down or up. I take the slide back off and I have to pull back past cock with the hammer while putting a little downward pressure on the sear with my finger. The hammer will lower then and everything works as it should again. Also if I put the slide on and pull it back just far enough to insert the slide stop without racking I can pull double action or manually cock and pull single action but as soon as I rack the slide it locks up again. I tried putting one of my Shadow slides on and on the same thing happens so I'm guessing it's a problem within the frame / trigger group. It has all new fire control parts Cajun adj. sear, Cajun type 1 disco along with a new CZC hammer. I've built 3 or 4 other pistols with this exact setup and never had an issue. The only thing I can think of is the set screw in the sear doesn't go in as far to function as I've seen in the past and could possibly be hitting something on the slide. I was going to try to source a shorter set screw tomorrow but thought I'd ask here first. Any info you can give me would be great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Slide milling

Primary Arms, I don't think anyone else can beat them for quality of work, cost and turn around time combined. My FFIII fits like a glove.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CZC ACCU Carry Optic

I'd be interested in buying a complete Shadow upper milled for a FF3
  15. I looked at that but by the time I pay shipping both ways and the rental I'd spend more than a 3rd of just buying them. I'd probably be better off just buying them and selling them when I was done. Honestly I'd rather find someone to do it for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
