Just my .02 but a mudded up incapacitated 1911 makes a better hammer than some piece of Tupperware

The VX6 is a good scope with a POS reticle. With a normal load like your 55/3000 and a 200yd zero figure the first hash as 450yds and the bottom of the circle about 625, and just guestimate everything in between.

Check out Hayes Custom Guns on FB, they're building me a Sight Tracker now and a friend of mine has a sweet cut up Sight Tracker they built.

If your not shooting factory ammo you might throw in a rifle length rod and a squib rod for the pistol. Some brake cleaner and oil go in the gear for sure or get picked up at Wally World on the way. Lense cleaning wipes are a necessity. A bandana or two or a couple of hand towels, one for getting greasy and one that I try to keep halfway clean. A pair of thin fingerless gloves. Spare batteries. A pen and a little note pad to write down what you forgot and wished you'd brought. Rain gear and an extra pair of shoes and socks are nice. 10' of para cord, a roll of duct tape and a few safety pins can come in real handy. Don't forget your multi tool or a screwdriver set. A ziplock bag or two are good too, especially for score sheets when it rains.

I run a 21" M2 with a 12rd tube, it just feels better to me than a 24" or longer gun with the same tube, looks weird though. As far as it being too nose heavy when fully loaded, it doesn't stay full very long.

It could be a game changer for about a minute but I don't know many MD's that wouldn't just throw up some No Shoots after the first appearance at a match
-
Try stretching it out, it may just be compressed enough from being installed that it's grown fatter.

AP Custom has a new carbon fiber handguard that fits a JP barrel nut and they've also got an octagonal carbon fiber with key mod. If you'll look, the JP heat sink's are no taller than the gas tube so most handguards will work fine with them.

Need help finding load system for 20 gauge
Blaise1 replied to Fursniper's topic in Shotgun - Technical
+1 on Taccom, great supporter of our sport and Tim rocks a 20 gauge himself -
I waiting on mine to come in too, as soon as I get some time on it I'll post.

Thanks I didn't think a rib would pass as a flange but figured WTH ask anyway
-
Short question, would a Commander length Sighracker with a standard length Tac frame be legal in SS? I was thinking this would be a fun little gun in 9mm and if I could use it in competition it might be the excuse I need to go ahead with it.
-
Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner, something came up and I didn't get to shoot yesterday but it looks like I need to replace the trigger return spring anyway from what y'all are saying. I'll try to do that and get some rounds through it this afternoon or tomorrow. G17, about half the time I could push the trigger forward and it would reset the other half it would go forward but not reset and I would have to rack it and try again.
-
You don't think it could have been the worn out recoil spring not forcing it into battery good? Do the lightweight race type connectors have a tendency to fatigue early?
-
Trigger spring isn't broken. Replacing the striker spring with a heavy one didn't cure the reset problem, that's what had me stumped.
