  1. Micro Mist. It's almost like a red oil but comes in a big aerosol can for about 6 bucks at the JD store and smells damn sweet.
  2. I know that 95% of the time shotgun is about choke but every once in a while there are stages that really need different loads. What I was wondering is where to find spreaders and also with the 7.5 size restriction at some matches does anybody make a load with smaller shot with a controlled expansion wad similar to flightcontrol? Thank's ahead of time.
  3. I'm one of the 53 as well as my 14yr old boy. He's running an Eotech and I just ordered a prismatic today and got an appointment at the eye Dr. next week. I'm dang sure not that fast or good enough for anybody to worry about.
  4. Go with the 17"bbl and all the low mass goodies. Get the Syrac or a gas block that has a set screw cause it sucks when you loose the bleeder plug. Get a good tunable comp and you'll be amazed at how flat the gun stays when you shoot.
  5. I've got about 2k rds on this spring now without much to report negatively. When I first got it I had an UBR stock on a 17"bbl, rifle gas tube, JP lmos, SJC comp, tuned JP buffer spring and a lightened car buffer. I put the SCS in adjusted my gas block and shot a few rounds through it. Liked it but couldn't really tell a big difference. Went to a match that weekend and on the first stage ran to slidelock and didn't realize it because of the difference in feel. Since then though I've just shot the crap out of it. The only thing I don't care for is the weight but everything has it's tradeoffs.
  6. The Wife has joined USPSA now so we will be sending app's in in the next few days. I looked at the stages last night and decided I didn't want to miss a match this good this close to home.
  7. I bought one of these in April. I've shot a major 3 gun, 2 major shotgun matches, and some sort of smaller match with it almost every weekend and haven't had any malfunctions or most importantly complaints. It may seem like a lot of $$$ and may not have a lightened bolt or every option you get with a true custom but it dang sure works. If you can find one and don't want to wait 2 months to get a race pkg done what's a hundred bucks or two? And just like Kurt M pointed out, if/when something does go down with the gun it does have the factory behind it. Just my 2cents worth.
  8. Thank's that was really confusing me.
  9. I've been running the SJC Titan comp for a few months now and really like it. My question is at 3 1/4" long isn't it too long for Tac division at most major matches? Does it really matter?
  10. Do you have tone an USPSA member to shoot this? Are there any spots left?
  11. This was a great match at a first rate facility with first rate RO's and staff. Thank you, to Nordic, Del-Tone/Luth, all the generous sponsors, MN3GG, and all the RO's and volunteers who put this awesome match on. Thank you Kenny and Ryan for all your help personally. Thank you Randy Luth for fighting the good fight and allowing us to reap the benefits. Thank you to all the other competitors for taking my family and myself into the fold and making us feel at home and welcome. It was our great pleasure to spend two great days with all of you and we all look forward to next year already. James thank you, and I agree squad one was an awesome squad to shoot with. We would love to shoot with any one of you guys any time. Jesse, wish we coulda got you in the picture but I understand anniversarys, ours is tomorrow.
  12. Doing laundry in Cody Wy. on our way from the MGM Junior shooters camp in Parma ID. Only 893 miles to go. Gotta love a wife that likes to take shooting vacations.
  13. Is it too late to get in on this? Anyone know the round count or number of stages?
