I feel your pain. We just had our gate controller key pad stolen at the end of our driveway. The guy that replaced it said it wont work for them without the codes plus it most likely shorted when they cut the wires. So.....$2k later.
  4. Oh yeah, heck of a good workout though. Always thought a good invention would be a dog sling, in case your dog came up lame. That way you could backpack him/her out.
  5. My favorite bird to hunt in the Pallisades outside wenatchee and canyon country between yakima and ellensburg. Always running into quail or hungarians. Spend a day hiking great country by yourself. Cant beat it. Had some biguns over by Mt. Borah. Yayup.
  6. I thought I would share my experiences with those who may be interested in Jakes digital coaching. I wasn't real sure about it, but $25 seemed like a cheap gamble compared to the thousands I have spent on real time group lessons. The program offers a venue to obtain one on one instruction that group lessons can never duplicate for a ridiculously low price compared to the level of instruction you receive. The lesson never ends as Jake is always available to support and encourage you after your lesson. Additionally, he never focuses on what your doing wrong, just tells you what you need to do or work on. I think this is an important part of learning and progressing in a functional environment of awareness without the negative dysfunction of ego. I have never shot better in the weeks after taking his digital coaching class. My practices are more productive as I bring a better level of awareness to the line, whether its live or dry fire. I am actually excited again about shooting matches and practicing as I learn something new every time rather than banging rounds downrange for naught. If you cant afford a couple grand for a one on one with a grand master shooter then you need to check out what Jake offers. It is money VERY well spent.
  7. I am sure they will. How else is Gentleman Jim supposed to go down 2 years in a row??
  8. Hits: FB-15 Firebird, HSMITH Tuned Mags, 1050, Springer Ion Bond, JPL Precision Gunsmithing, CED 7k, +1 landsharks, Burner Single Stack Grips and the Great Friends I have made in this sport. Misses: Some mags and holsters I cant name right now cause of mod restrictions and my first two "custom" limited 6" pistols.
  9. For large rifle i did not crimp, just used the .05 neck sizer die for hunting and the .07 for bench.
  10. Schuemanns chrono slower. Fred Craig tested a few awhile ago and liked the Bar-sto for accuracy. JPL precision likes the KKM barrels. I will go Bar-sto next but dang, that Storm lake in my edge still shoots nice.
  11. Why thats only a half hour away from me.......
  12. I have been crossfitting daily for 3 years (with rest days of course) and still 5'10" and 205. I have tried zone dieting etc. to no avail in losing fat. I have also added woodway workouts for pure cardio hell, one hour per day. Getting close to 50 yo so that may be a big factor metabolism wise. I would pay a great deal of money to have someone figure out my problem. I still eat a zone based diet and have added protein shakes to supplement and noticed my soreness decreasing and my strength go way up, but still cant lose that love handle. I dont eat dairy, sugar or drink alcohol . Had extensive blood work done to determine thyroid possible issues but all comes up normal. Acceptance is a lonely road.....
  13. He was a nice person and will be missed.
  14. Maybe they were not Bills fans. Sometimes the extra mile needs to happen. your just a piece of paper in an endless sea. Find out who does the hiring and what they like to do. Get an edge on the competition.
