  1. +1 on the 1.18 oal. Then make sure your crimp is sufficient to not hang on ramp or hood.
  2. Anyone have the model number for the butlers on this scope? Went to Cabelas today and they had an occular that may or may not have fit, but no objectives. Source?
  3. My runs flawless with the heavy piston and 7.5 shot 1 1/8. I totally disassembled , cleaned with rubbing alch. and re-lubed when I recieved.
  4. Welcome! (which Leavenworth btw?)
  5. Most peeps take the buses to the track. Will that location still be problematic?
  6. We are planning on NASCAR race next year. One of the places closer to the track is Sams Town hotel. Anyone stayed here or have other recommendations?
  7. Go Canada!!! (my moms a canadadadadaien)
  8. I decided to go with the LT - 123. My FB is a little higher and the 1/4" difference in height (lower) makes a big difference.
  9. Seems like hardblue is just for barrels
  10. Good report. My single stack is done. looks purdy. Runs great. The magwell that was ionbonded has chipped and scratched with very limited reloading (2 matches). I may go back to hard chrome next time or hot blue. Not sure if Ionbond claims their finish doesnt chip or scratch. Perhaps the fable was generated elsewhere.
  11. Thanks! Having another sample run in our hydrolab at work today to garner more info.
  12. Welcome! Got some great shooters in MT.
  13. Problem is once you use your pass, there is always someone you wished you would have saved it for.
  14. I have a well with a kinetico treatment system. It has been determined that I have corrosive water with the copper pipes in my house. The water was tested from the well and after treatment. The treated water is more corrosive than the Raw water. I have had kinetico out and I think they will sell me anything to make a buck with no solutions. Can anyone help me determine a better system to bring the values of the water test into alignment to remedy the problem? Treated: Hyd Sulfide pH 5.74 Magnesium Alkalinity 133.0 Manganesse diss. solids 669.0 Potassium Langlier indx -3.853 (perhaps softener taking out too much calcium to buffer pH?) Raw: Hyd Sulfide pH 6.62 Magnesium Alkalinity 115.0 Manganesse diss. solids 721.0 Potassium Langlier indx -1.279
  15. Also check this excellent resource thread. be can you re-link the 9mm resource thread. Goes to a limcat thread.
  16. Specifically tuned brass to a handgun is not essential. High power rifle, yes. Then I would spend the time and the money on LE Wilson sizer die made to your chamber fired brass as well as neck turned prior to firing. A pistol IMO, should run just about all brass if properly re-loaded. Or just roll size everything. I had a little problem with storm lake barrel chambers being a little too tight, so I had the chamber reamed to spec and everything runs.
  17. Prob is i have 100k CCI primers. Work good in pistol.
  18. Yes I did. Cut in half with dremel. Swageing, reaming and uniforming dont seem to work. Dan uses a 60 degree countersink to take out the flange or crimp lip that is usually left over. I think the CCI primers may be a source of the fits and this may fix it.
