  1. Because the mouth is not behind the hip bones. It is just like using a front pocket during a COF, just yucky-er...

  4. Saw on FB that Ron passed away last night. RIP Ron...
  5. I found this in the archives: Dunno if Matt was the only one but Jerry was still on tube in 1993: ETA: Matt won the USPSA Open Nationals and the IPSC World Shoot that year. I bet C-More had a hard time meeting demand in '94
  6. Prior to getting a bullet feeder, I had the powder measure in position 3. One less index for powder to spill. My old setup for .40 was to decap and size with a Dillon die, size again with a U-die and prime at position 2, powder 3, seat 4, and crimp 5. I never used a u-die for 9 or 45. I saw the KISS bullet feeder at the 2006 Area 2 and was hooked. been running with the dropper die in position 3 since then. I load mostly 9 now so in addition to looking into the case for powder at position 3, I also glimpse at the case in position 1 just in case one of those f*#king stepped cases has escaped my rigorous inspection protocol. So, I have been running a 650 with something other than a powder check at position 3 without issue for near 15 years. I will probably continue .
  7. If you can manually lock the bolt now, it should be fine.
  8. Be advised that if you use this device, you will not have much, if any, ability to shorten the bolt stroke.
  9. I have a couple of the NFA side-charger uppers with the same mechanism. It works fine. You may have to tweak the wire some.
  10. The little mailman just stumbled up to the porch with a box from Todd. The stuff looks great and on time as promised. Thanks!
  11. The first (and mostly only) place to see scores in Area 2 was logically the Area 2 web site. Jerry Mallard, the webmiester would post the overall scores. This is true from Feb 1999 and likely earlier. Somehow, the area survived this travesty.
  12. It does work but the page refresh after hitting the mark site read button does not happen. Try hitting "Unread content" immediately after marking stuff read. Later, Chuck
  13. One of the many discussions: ETA another:

  16. OK, kids, I am going to lock this up. If anybody has something meaningful to add to this thread, LMK and I will open it up again. Good luck to all at the WSSSC!
  17. Ken and company, being proactive are addressing the "issue". From a FB post by Ken: " On the PractiScore side, we are changing so that the overalls will be an option for the Match Director to show or not show, and that even when shown will not be the default view. " This way we can let the healing begin ... (Now people are going to be pissed about what division is shown as default )
  18. No problem. The schedule shift wasn't widely published.
  19. Practiscore Competitor is the app you want to compare competitors, diddle scores and time to do what if's. You can even do the evil cross-divison comparisons. It is a great app.
  20. That was the staff shooting the match. There was rain forecast for today (Thursday) so they moved the staff up a day. The normal schedule is staff Thursday, Revo Friday, main match Sat and Sunday.
