  1. I have often thought: Man, if I could just kill a beer before each stage?
  2. I think it's a weight disguised as a sight
  3. I have been using blue bullets as well. no problems at major pf
  4. 9mm Major is most popular, now. Let the pointless debate begin!! (Because you KNOW someone is going to say that .38S is more popular.) there's no "like" button
  5. All goods are scarce, some just more so than others. I just wish the retailers would be smart enough to raise prices to control the panics rather than let their shelves go bare. Unfortunately the shooting community gets angry and vengeful instead of being happy that products are available and go where they are valued most. I'd be happy to pay $50 a pound for pistol powder right now. And if this continues, I'd be happy to pay $100 a pound. that's about ass backwards, inmo, of course. why would you be happy to pay 4 times what any product is worth. A hack dealer at the last gun show in Raleigh had 8lb jugs of autocomp for 340.00 as bad as I needed it, I told him where he could put it. the following week I found some on the shelf at a local shooting supply store for 165.00. That is who I will gladly do business with, not the butthole doubling the price.
  6. Andrew at Barnes, Precision, told me about a new range just north of Pittsboro NC called Range2a range2a.com . I checked it out today. It's about 75 acres but only ten acres have been developed. The owner showed me the plans for the each stage of range development. This place is going to be a giant, world class facility and will surely be a destination for competitive shooters, and LE/Mil, all over the country.
  7. You don't want to shoot that tg. Just send it to me, and you wont have to worry about it.
  8. I agree.. I can't decide on a new gun a cnc mill
  9. I just don't think when it comes to the two, you are on a even playing field. Prod, SS, rev and limited are for the most part on the same playing field from gun to gun.. imo..
  10. blue bullets. plenty in stock, they shoot great and very accurate..
  11. 1.116? Auto comp makes for a awesome steel load, so much I was beginning to think it was made for open minor. the 1.116 is the overall length of the loaded round. My load is a little different. 124/125 rn blue bullet. I load a little longer..
  12. I saw that too. I have a trubor that runs like a sewing machine minor or maj... drop to a 8lb spring and 5.1 grs autocomp 124/125 ... pretty versatile gun
  13. I use the blue bullets in a open gun,, at major pf.. lots of guys here running them in glocks
  14. I have run the 95gr blue playing round with other powders at higher speeds than the 115 would need to make maj. The coating stays on even shooting steel. they're unreal.
  15. blue bullets is going to start making 115, I guess i'm going to have to try wac with 115. I have run 124/125 with it, but never 115.
  16. steelmaster has a comp. comped guns and guns with bull barrels use a reverse plug, no bushing.
  17. I have shot two local match's, minor open just to change things up. I wanted to slow things down and make the points count. if there is nothing to loose, why not shoot minor? I'm actually doing a tad better. a lot more a's, and not hard on the gun at all. shoot maj at maj matches. when I went back to maj, I was able to appreciate how the higher pf helps control the gun better. (much less flippy) save powder have fun. next match will again be minor open, try and shoot all a's even if my time sucks.. just to see..
