  1. That's the bottom line. IMO the difference between competitors and the tacti-cool crowd is that competitors are open-mined and will try new things to improve. We're fixated on results, not dogma or looking or acting cool.
  2. I have some #6 followers I'll trade you for the #8's. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
  3. Well deserved Douglas! Thanks for your insight. BTW - how did you choose your forum name "Carlos"?
  4. Other than the rear peep sight, I like it! Sights and triggers are like women though - what does it for you is a very individual thing!
  5. That's my experience too. The new mags fly out out of the gun. mscott - do you have an older slide release. I believe there are several versions IIRC.
  6. That's definitly a Dane. I estimate that dog is 150+ pounds.
  7. It's easy to say after the fact, but if someone is charging at me cussing, I can only assume he wants to get physical.
  8. Do they not drop free?
  9. Good stuff. Thanks for posting.
  10. I don't know why this is so funny to me, but ROTFL. I'm sure it's fake . . .
  11. $2 a share AND the Fed is protecting the downside for JPM! That is alarming.
  12. Tod - you don't need that cheater gun! Just shoot a G22 or G35 in LTD like the rest of the real men
  13. Congrats Eric! Any USPSA clubs near Gainesville?
  14. Correct - under copyright law. I can legally make backups for myself, but I can't copy them and give them to friends. By making a back up copy, the developer does not lose a sale or revenue - not true if I sell or give copies away.
  15. RGS - why no vacation in 5 years?
  16. Interesting to see if it passes.
  17. Carlos - thanks again for your updates on this important topic.
  18. So my son and I love Halo 3 for Xbox 360. After about 2 months, it stops working, despite cleaning. The clerk at the game store looks at it and says that the Xbox made a ring on it and they won’t exchange it. Talking to the manager didn’t help. It’s a $60 game! So is there anyway to make back up copies of my games for this type of situation? Please use small words because I’m tech-slow Thanks.

    Chase Bank

Yes, but unless USPSA buys a bank, it will only be a private labeled card that's actually with a big bank . . .

    My kids..

That's really good stuff. I've not yet been able to get my kids interested in shooting. Still working on it . . .

    Chase Bank

No doubt. I have a Cabelas credit card. It's not just private labeled card from another giant bank, they actually have their own credit card company. Here's an excerpt: "Company Profile World's Foremost Bank (WFB) is a subsidiary of Cabela's, the "World's Foremost Outfitter" of hunting and fishing gear and outdoor apparel. WFB is a federally chartered CEBA bank that issues consumer credit cards. Cabela's purchased part of the former National Bank of Commerce (NBC) / Cabela's CLUB portfolio and started business as the World's Foremost Bank on March 24, 2001. Most WFB staff members are based at the Cabela's Technology Center at 4800 NW 1st Street in Lincoln, Nebraska." They are GREAT to deal with! If I call, a HUMAN actually picks up the phone. The best thing is that you get "Cabelas Points" for all purchases that can be used to buy shooting accessories, ammo, mags, etc. I am not affiliated with Cabelas, but do believe we should all support merchants who sell anything shooting related - especially when they have great service. Here's a link: Cabelas Visa
