  1. now THAT looks like some mighty Fine, FUN shooting. !!!!! See ya'll there. HOP
  2. Looks like rain on Friday early and then all is well. Been a while since shooting at CASA, I've always enjoyed myself and don't expect any thing else. See ya'll there. Hopalong
  3. James, Darn, I'll have to work friday so I won't even get to see you having such a large time. Oh well, at least you'll have the most fun you've ever had in a shooting match. without running over me at that ! Hope to see you there before you get gone. Hop
  4. For .40 cal in Revolver I have been using the Precision Delta 180 grn Fmj. It has a super small "flat spot" on the nose but as far as the revolver reload is concerned it is not an issue. AND they are extemely accurate in my guns I have. Precision Delta is the USPSA bullet/ammo supplier for Major matches so when you are on the USPSA website just click on that link. HOP
  5. See Post above CARMONEY !!!!!! Hop
  6. Bones, You MAY shoot the 627 in revolver division in USPSA..................... You MUST reload after every 6 shots though. Hop
  7. Shooting generally done by just before noon, and prizes/trophies within an hour or so...........usually some stage take down involed between last shot and trophies. Don't look for a "revolver" squad except on Friday. Many locals that work the match will be running a wheel. See you next weekend and then there Bill. Hop
  8. G-man, I added to my post, take a look. It is BETTER now ! Hop
  9. Bob, I've been a little Dislexic here lately ................................ I'm 14 !!!! Hop
  10. I've been sitting aside watching but I'll toss in my 2 pennies. When I started shooting a wheelgun it was the Challenge of the gun that got me there. In the mean time I have met and shot with a wonerful group of die hard wheelgunners, and some not so die hard (like me) that stray back and forth. I have not met the challenge of the gun but maybe one day I will, until then whipping up on a few autoblaster guys and gals every now and then helps. so now it is more the people than the challenge that keeps my shooting the wheel. Hopalong Not very good, but maybe one day.......
  11. What Carmoney said. PLUS Don't get too wild and cut the star too thin between the charge holes...............the ends of the star will break off !!!!! (Ask me at a match one of these days) Hopalong
  12. All gun Expert. I've heard some grumbling about not being in the right class with a few of them................... ( I think I'll ask to go down) Hopalong A11299
  13. HV, What are you waiting for ???? :popcorn1: :popcorn1: :popcorn1: Hop
  14. Cliff, you will need to talk them into making it a level III match for that. Mississippi Classic in 2 1/2 weeks is one, (have been telling ya'll that for years) and there is a STRONG number of local wheelgunners to watch out for. Hopalong
  15. Work kept me away, but WOW !!!! This is the Largest (by numbers) area match in the US and only 5 ?????? Maybe a little too pricey? (entry fee kind of steep) and then Atlanta area Hotel prices....... Edit to add: You may choose more than one answer. Hop
  16. Hey Yankee CUZ, Sorry to see that !!!!! Good example for others to watch out for though, good for you to post it. See you in Sellersburg for the Indiana section. Hopalong
  17. Kevin, Yes I have seen him shoot it. No he is not shooting Limited with it. He's just as or a little more CRAZY with it than his "normal" 226 Oh yeah, and It's the thing he used a few weeks ago to shoot 2 100% classifiers to make GM !!!!! Hopalong
  18. For MAJOR matches I use VV320. For practice, and/or anything else I use what ever I got the cheapest at the time of Winchester Super Field, tight Group, Have used E3...............just something with a proven track record. AND................ I too like to mix up the stuff so the gun does slightly different things to help me remember to look at the speed bumps on top !!! Hopalong
  19. Anyone wanting to know what an X5 is, go see Rodney May. He shoots Sat AM, Sun AM. Take your camera and watch the show :popcorn1: Hopalong
  20. I don't know much, but when I was shooting LTD way back when I was in C class for about a year and a half. When I made "B" class I was there for a total of 3 months then "Welcome to the DEEP END of the Pool" So that put me in "B" class automaticly in all other divisions I was classified in..................until the "M" came around and moved them all up again. "B" class will pretty much gobble up most with some talent to shoot and with just enough time to get profficient but not "GOOD" (There is a difference) Hop
  21. a few others and I will be there Sunday to give or take a good ole fashioned butt whuppin !!!!! Hop
  22. I'd like to congtatulate my buddy Rodney May for making GM in Production !!!! With a SORRY ass SIG at that ! Hopalong
  23. Scott, Since last year you said that if James would shoot a wheelgun you would, are you ? Hop.
