  1. Congrats to Chad for another good match and now Indiana Champion to go along with his A-8 champ title. I tried again, but just couldn't get it together to out do the champ ! Good to see the rest of you, and meet some others the first time. Hop
  2. I use a xl650 with dillion dies for my .45 stuff and get maybe 1 in 3-400 that is sticky but will work. I loaded 1000 yesterday and all of them fell in and fell out. I use a U die with my 40 because of tight cylinders on my 646. Since then I've had 0 (ZERO) problems with my auto ammo and maybe 1 in the same 3-400 (but it won't work in my 646, and will in my autos) I quit checking practice ammo long time ago, and only check match ammo now. HOP
  3. plenty to eat close. Just have fun, and go see the Bass Pro shop if you have time. HOP

  5. Yep, I've got 2 of them. a 8 footer for really tough stuff, and an 18 footer for the easy to cut but bigger fields. HOP
  6. NOPE I'm (and a whole bunch of other TN shooters) are on 36 for Sunday. Stop by and say HI !!!!! I'll be the one shooting the Gattling gun !!!!! Hop
  7. Down to 41 !!!!! Now that it is getting close, I'll have to decide if I'm really going to go ! Hop
  8. David, Go ahead and put Flex in one of the 2 walk on spots in my squad !!!!!! I've got to get him for making me hit the NO-SHOOT on his stage at A-8 that let his OHIO parnter in crime out do me by .6 of a match point !!!!!!!!! Hop
  9. Seems like that mud is a Clay based thing that kind of STICKS to your shoes ????? With some gravel mixed in. Hop
  10. The list is now moving. Hop
  11. Hey, They always said the camera made you look 10 pounds heavier !!!! I can tell I talk to myself WAY too much while I'm shooting !!!! Thanks Flyin ! Also noticed, I have a pretty good HUA syndrome for a couple of those stages ! Hop
  12. Tony, Wheelgunners don't normally attend this match because they are a little bit on the "scared" side. BUT, I am not planning on shooting one of them things myself. I do intend to shoot some kind of autoloading thing with LOTS of magazine capacity !!!!! Or I might shoot some kind of autoloading thing with a little less magazine capacity !!!!! We'll see when the time gets here. BUT...................... I do NOT recomend missing this match !!!! HOP
  13. Would like to make this match to defend 2007.................but too expensive a trip too close to Nationals Oh well, can't make them all. Hop
  14. it looks to me like Matt Cheeley is shooting two divisions !!!!! Also, It looks like it'll be a little warmer than A-8 !!!! See ya'll Saturday. Hop
  15. AND once again, I'll have a thrilling and maybe even heartbreaking challenge for you !!!!!!! HOP
  16. Kend, No I don't know How much but just doing the math I think 5 to 7 thousand for each. Shane and his Mother are going so the trip is DOUBLE the cost of just shooting. I did not get an exact number since some of our local rifle team members and a few others also walked up and gave Shane some $$$$ but my running total of what I gave him from entries, and other donations was $850+ We had 28 brave shooters show up for the HOTTEST weekend to date. We shot 8 stages and it took 191 rounds to shoot the match. I had comments about the stages being as good and fun as any Area and Section match (Thanks to a few of the local shooters, and a bald guy). I would like to thank a few folks. The Hendrixs' they own the range and charged ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH, NADA for use of the range. AND then they wouldn't take anything for targets, tape/pasters, paint. Bill W. (RO and stage design), Lynn J. (scoring and RO) Stan W. (stage design), Nathan H. (Stage design and scoring), Bill G. (Scoring and RO) GManCDP (RO), John K. (scoring and RO), Heidi H. (range prep) The good folks who showed up to support Shane and his family It only takes one small effort like this to show how good this group of people(shooters) are. !!!! Thanks to all, If you wanted to make the trip but didn't you missed a great match for a good cause. Hop
  17. Flyin40, Good to meet you finally. Was wondering, did you get stage 11 anywhere ? Hop
  18. Still remember my Hound dog "Buddy" June 16, 1983 - March 28, 1993 I was 24, and he was my companion since he was 6 weeks old. I too had to do the same as you. Words cannot really show how I feel. memories will only get better. Hopalong
  19. A quick way around memphis if coming from the west on I-40/I-55 from St. Louis Once in West Memphis Ar, get on the I-55 S to Jackson MS, cross over the MS river on the old bridge(I-55 south) take the second exit after the bridge(I-55 south) and follow it to the I-240 east(or south I can't remember) then follow it to SR385(bill Morris Parkway) east. follow it to the US-72 east to Corinth MS. Hope that helps, round count looks like just a little shy of 200 but there is a fairly good amount of steel to shoot at !!!! Hop
  20. Thanks for the Heads up David. AND Thanks for all the hard work !!!! Hop
