  1. yeah, I know. But I want it now DARNIT!! Kidding. Thats what I've been doing. I'm just not the most patient of people when it comes to toys that go boom.
  2. I did that at the 2011 L10 Nationals... I only had three rounds in it.
  3. THe top one is sick. Love the blue grip tape and the mobius cut on the grip.
  4. Pretty much what everyone else said. Great movie till the end.
  5. There have been a ton of them lately. I just get frustrated they always pop up after I get hosed for some unforseen expense (like a car payment... Jeez it's like they expect it every month ).
  6. I HATE seeing all these freaking awesome open guns on the classifieds that always appear when I can't afford to buy them DARNIT!!!! Whew. Sorry had to get that out.
  7. who cares. Either way you're gonna get wet. as my dad would say "shut up and shoot".
  8. my $.02 is this. If you only/mostly shoot USPSA pistol matches go .40. If you shoot a bunch of 3 Gun I'd consider 9mm. You can still use it for Limited minor and most 3 Gun matches use time plus scorring so you don't have major/minor point differences.
  9. A person appearing on television is only a 'spokesperson' if they are an official representative of the organization in question. If you or I were interviewed on television we would not be labeled as a spokesperson for our employer unless our employer had sanctioned that appearance. It appeared to me that Jessie was trying to stick to the facts about guns, their capabilities and types. I think there are enough people out there focusing on the politics of the issue; As always there are proponents on both sides, and the undecided in the middle who are perhaps best served with facts and information without the political overtones. Well stated.
  10. The trojan or the Sentry. I'd say Sentry because the checkering on the front strap is more aggressively checkered.
  11. I've been shooting uspsa for a long time right handed/left eye dominate and I've never had a problem. I just bring the gun in front of my left eye and everythign is good to go. I have to squint it a little shooting rifle and shotgun for 3 Gun but other than that I've never had an issue. easier to switch eyes than relearn everything left handed. Just my opinion (that and $4.50 will get you a cup of starbucks).
  12. Got my butt kicked by the Chief... That WOD hurts.
  13. Got my confirmation a couple weeks ago, I'll be in both matchs... I just hope I won't make too much of an ass of myself with the revolver.
  14. I've been using Kettlebells for several years and you can deffinatly turn up the cardio with them. I'd look at Jeff Martone's Website http://www.tacticalathlete.com/ He's one of the foremost authorities on Kettlebells in the US.
  15. it was a good episode. I'm DVRing it
  16. I agree with Lumpygravy. .40 it's cheaper, then when you do start to reload 9mm (which you already have) and 40 have the same size primer so you won't have to keep changing out the primer plate on the reloading machine. Plus if you go to Doug at DC ammo and/or Atlanta Arms they'll have a great selection of 40
  17. I used to shoot in NY (upstate area) as well and unless you can find preban high caps you're kinda stuck to L10. You can get a single stack 45 with some 10 rounders to make major or find a custom built 2011 (lots for sale on the forums here) thats had a little grip reduction. Something else to consider would be a glock 34 or 35. If you get the 40 you could always download the rounds minor for production. You could shoot L10 major as well.
  18. I have a Dawson Jarrett model para I got in 2002 with several thousands of rounds thats never had a malfunction. I recently bought a Cameron's Custom that has around 3,000 on it also sans issue.
  19. Or string or celophane...
  20. That was a great book. Black list is also good.
  21. I saw an olympic arms ar-15 (non removable carry handle, a2 stock and flashhider) which is normally a 750-800 dollar gun sell for a little over 3 grand on gunbroker earlier this week. Craziness.
  22. The "experts" are now saying that the could have miscalculated it by a few days... but seeing how every "end of the world theory/date" has been wrong so far I'd say we're probably good to go. One of my favorite quotes to live by is "lifes to short to drink crappy beer and shoot ugly guns." I think I'll live by it!
