  1. Does anyone have a factory large frame magwell to sell? I need it for an IDPA ESP gun I am putting together.
  2. Is it difficult to find a 6 inch 40 cal barrel to convert a hunter 10mm to 40? Looking to build a 6 inch limited gun.
  3. That is all I shoot, as do most of my friends. We find them more accurate than the .356 bullets. I can drop the charge .1 gr (using WST) and get the same velocity. They will not hurt your barrel or gun.
  4. Why not a disco that gets rid of the pretravel on these guns, like the ones for CZs?
  5. If the stages have been approved by HQ prior to the match and I show up and there are a few discrepancies with the rules, I'm going to shoot it and enjoy it. Try and get a stage thrown out, are you kidding me? Man up, shoot to win and don't come back next year if a you are butthurt about it.
  6. Don't know. I measured from breech face
  7. S11- 4.516 barrel, 6.937 SR Lp- 4.79, 7.375. SR
  8. My henning large frame mag well weighs 1.5 oz. ,does anyone know the weight of the tanfo mag well?
  9. i understand now. my RL has a cast iron link thak looks bulletproof compared to the Super that i have
  10. I am a bit confused as to what part you are talking about that is breaking. Where is it on the 1050 exactly? Thanks
  11. I bought a pro recently and it has slide cuts , which are really nice ,but not allowed in idpa ESP, so I need a pro upper for it.
  12. If any of you guys has one laying around, let me know.
  13. My last dillon 1050 plate lasted 3 months and around 1800 rounds before it broke, no give on a warranty for it ( I am fully aware of the 1050 warranty). I bought another one from dillon, but if it proves to be crap, I will try the after market one(it has an excellent warranty ). My first 1050 plate lasted a few years, and that seemed reasonable. The bottom metal bowed out in every station until one finally broke clean off on the second one. Commercial machine or not, 1800 rounds is not enough to justify 80 bucks for a new one.
  14. i checked all seven of my mags and could not find any consistency in them.Only one passed the test and it had a number 2 follower. None of the 1 follower mags passed, and all are after market mags.Oddly enough, all seem to function fine.
  15. our local production GM uses a limited pro 40 on occasion and has found it to be his most accurate gun, including his Stock 2 9mm. i think he uses 147 xtremes and tightgroup. We both have found that our stock 2 and limited pro 9mm guns to be equally accurate, so i think you can assume a stock 2 40 minor to b e good to go.
  16. Personally, I don't like this way to shoot a match, some love it. It creates extra confusion for the SO's and competitors. Basically you walk up to a stage and hand the SO your sheet and get in line. Shooters tend not to help paste since there is no squad per se to align with. Many guys form a little squads with friends and travel together. It is still a very fun match.
  17. I can't tell you which way is the "correct" way, but I can tell you that the 2 most popular tanfoglio stock 11 smiths adjust the safety. I use a Dremel with a small rubber wheel that is impregnated with a little abrasive. It takes off very small amounts of metal and polishes at the same time. The safety is also so easy to take on and off that you can adjust the part a little at a time and test so you get it perfect.
