I tweaked the two Grams follower/springs I had, with the CZ 16rnd and long CZ pad, I finally got 22 +1, could go 23 but waaay to tight for a reliable reload. With the CZ 18rnd short CZ pad I got 23 +1 (very tight). If both prove to be reliable, this will be my start mag and the other my #1 mag. After tweaking both locked slide back.

Roger that. I got a couple of Springer pads and Grams followers for my MG 17 round mags, and most I can get into them would be 21+1, and that last round might not feed it is so tight. So far, it looks like the 18rd CZ mag with short CZC basepad and CZ follower, is the most I can get (22+1). Any CZ guys care to share how they get more?

I'm using CZ 16rd mags with the CZC Long basepad, stock follower and spring. Fits gauge, holds 20+1, and locks slide back. Have been very reliable. I've tried CZ 18rd mag with CZC short basepad, CZC follower and 10 coil spring. Fits gauge, holds 22+1, but does not lock slide back. Basepad does not fit up against grip, so full force of insertion is on mag release. Question: Does everyone prefer the additional two rounds over the ability to lock the slide back? Looking at maybe changing mag setup over the winter, trying to decide which is more important. I feel like if the spring can lock the slide back, it may feed a little better. No proof, just a little more confidence in it I guess.

Try taping the hammer back. You wont get the DA long pull on the first pull, but it works great for the rest of the DF exercise. I have tried the full DA pull on the first DF "shot" and not allowing the trigger back to fully reset for subsequent SA "shots" - but I still need to work on this particular aspect.

I have mine zero'd at 10 yds. Has worked quite well for me this year.

Try a box of good factory ammo and see what happens. If you still get hang ups, then you know. I run Zero 124gr RN at 1.100 in my CZ SP01. Runs great with CZ and M-G mags.

I started with a Phantom, loved it, it is now my backup gun. Primary gun now is a CZC 75 Shadow with CZC SP01 mulit-optic top end, love it. If I had it to do over again, I would start with an SP-01 or an Accu Shadow, as I believe they have a beveled magwell opening versus the Shadow's square bottom.

+1 for Immortal Arms. They have a spring kit that takes care of a couple of issues. And a few other things that will help your reloading too. RE the zip tie trick, that sorta works, but adding their Spill Stop did more to prevent bullet tip than the zip ties have. Also, on the light, I had to secure the power plug with a couple of zip ties to keep it from being worked out.

Whoever is running the timer needs to put it close for the first and last shot. It can be done.

Below is response from CGW. Waiting on response from CZC. Looked closer at my manual, which is pretty clear the safety is not designed to work in DA. I will be keeping my manual in my bag for future reference if needed.

Check with your MD. I've seen a guy at a local match shoot suppressed for no score. Pretty cool to watch.

I had to use a hammer impact driver to remove mine.

I have an AmmoBot on my 1050, and replaced the stock case shuttle spring with a 12# 1911 recoil spring, cut two coils short of in half. I had to send it back to them to fix the profile, as it was sticking. I'm not convinced it fixed any of the issues I was experiencing.

Interesting, that verbiage is not in the manual I have, for an SP-01. I have a CZ 75 Shadow Custom Black, and can engage the safety with the hammer fully down. I have emailed CZC for clarification/suggestions.

Everything I've read says it's dirty and burns hot. Probably a favorite cause it's relatively cheap, available, meters well, and burns pretty consistent.

Titegroup is most poplar. I use E3 and like it. You might look at this post for more options.
