  1. If the gun is on approved list and its a factory gun with a factory barrel how can they fairly bump you to open because of slight variances in factory tolerances, along with slight variances in the calibration of the callers used? Seems awfully silly to me. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Looks like she may have eaten it all...
  3. That is below dealer wholesale, great deal!
  4. I do believe its also a cold hammer forged midlength barrel. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  5. "Were you expecting an exploding pen?" Q teases Bond. "We don't really go in for that sort of thing anymore." Its odd that he says anymore as these new bond films started right after he left the SAS and went to MI6 so in this bond universe he never really would have used gadgets... 6. All. Day. Every. Day. I manage a gun shop, own an ammo manufacturing business and shoot on the weekends. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  7. I don't think I would want to buy a gun from a no wait time builder if there was one...
  8. Hustling so hard that you didn't even have time to realize it!
  9. The trigger for sure. That Spike's Battle Trigger is just a mil-spec trigger that has been nickel boron coated. Get yourself one of the quality aftermarket triggers out there. I am partial to the Geissele triggers, and I am sure everyone will have their own preference .
  10. Really? She made Master by requesting a class increase. Some folks may doubt that, but it's easy to check. Pull up her classification, and look at her Limited scores. On 10/28/08 there is a classifier just shy of 72% that is coded as "B" meaning it's more than 5% below your current classification. In that case, it means the shooter has to be a Master, because it would count for an A. Now, look at the rest of her scores, before 10/28/08, and note that there is only ONE score above 85%. There is simply no way she could have made Master with those scores....other than by formal request....which you can't do for GM. Regardless of how she made M, she definitely just came in 12th at open nationals. AFAIK that's the best any female shooter has done at nationals.
  11. I may be confused, but last time I checked, the gas key being staked is pretty darn important. AFAIK Young's BCGs are typically properly staked. Nope, from the factory Young BCG's will not be staked. Many dealers stake them before they send them out, but not alll. Well I just read Young's statement on why they don't stake and I still don't understand why they don't do it. They basically said that nobody seals the key correctly, but still no good reason for them to not stake it. They even cite that the Mil Spec is to stake them, and what staking tool to use if you do decide to stake it, yet they still don't do it. Oh, and your warranty on your gas key is void if it is staked, no matter who staked it.
  12. Funny thing is I had a distributor that had them listed by Leupold product number, and in stock. Now I can't find the product number anywhere, and the distributor no longer has them listed at all on their site. Which distributor had it before? I deal mostly with RSR and Ellett and neither of those reps had even heard of the darn scope when I asked about it.

  14. For three gun get the Prisimatic from Leupold because you can have hold overs. For a work of defense gun its a great sight comparable to an Aimpoint. I personally prefer the T1/H1 in that application. Pat I just looked at the Prismatic, which reticle allows for holds? I see the Circle Plex and the DCD reticles. Thanks!
  15. In this video, Mike Voight talks about a Springfield P9 George Huening built for him. Pretty neat stuff!
  16. I shoot a carbine/pistol match here every month and I don't have much of a problem hitting the 300 yard targets with my 10.3" MK18 upper with an Aimpoint PRO. Using an SBR definitely makes the close range stuff real easy too
  17. I don't have any problems running .40s through my LNL AP.
  18. Are you sure bullets aren't striking the comp? There shouldnt be any copper fouling. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  19. Are we ever going to get these in the US? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I keep a blow out kit in my range bag just in case somebody else there actually knows how to use it. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Very awesome! Which did you get? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  22. One of these days I will have to come up and shoot a SEPSA match, I keep hearing that they are pretty good.
  23. Doesn't that make it armor piercing?
  24. Absolutely, the OP's question was if using a slide mount so that's what we were speaking to
