  1. ^^^ I too am using his bullets. I just started using them and they are my first experience with Hi-tek coated bullets. I have to adjust my foes from my played bullets so my first experiences weren't that great lol. I was stripping coating like cray. Going to adjust the bell and back the crimp out until it's barely touching and try again. I am loading the 147's with N320. Also he is local to me so I can just meet him to pick them up. 2. El presidente Bill drill I would like to be able to practice these pretty regular. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. It was a little concave after that but still useable. Lol Yea I deserved it. I figured I would be buying the plate but march director had a local guy that just repaired it or supplied another one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Pics of the magwell compared to the factory? I have a UG P09 and it's barrel is really short compared to my shadow and P01. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I got my fist DQ at one of the first 3 gun matches I shot. I was using a mossberg 500 ( all I had) and I was not used to the magazine loading backwards where the last round in was the first round out. Needless to say I thought I was being slick and loaded for the stage and put a slug in where I thought it would be needed. Needless to say I put a slug on a steel plate at about 10 yards lol... got a big DQ for that one. It hurt my feelings more then anything else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm loading at 1.100 and running about 890-880 FPS with the MS out of a CZ Shadow. Should be noted that accuracy was terrible so far but works for paper and steel for USPSA. It won't win any bullseye loads. 3.2 was extremely accurate with extreme plated 147's but I have switched to Hi-Tek coated lead and still messing around with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I want to do my CZ's but have no idea where to get a few lead balls of the correct size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I use a Magneetospeed for precision rifle and for my handgun loading. Right now I am losing for about 132 PF with 147 9mm and N320. My question is how much velocity difference you all think I would see if I go to a match and get chronoed at 10-15 feet or so? I am checking my velocity at the muzzle with the MS and with traditional chrono they are usually down range. I am seeing a lot of people running hotter loads then I am with my N320. I'm usually around 3.1-3.2 in my CZ's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. .358 bullets might be the problem. Those are technically for .38 special I believe. Have you loaded with them before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Where is it getting stuck in the case gauge? How much crimp are you running? It looks to be a BUNCH but that shouldn't affect the round clambering I would think. I loaded some Berrys 147's and they Jd a severe coke bottle shape. They all shot though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I pour mine right down the drain. There is a lot of water involved when your wet tumbling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm. It that anal about the powder but .6 seems like a lot. I usually do 10 drops and dump them back in. Weigh 3-5 until it's all the same. Load 10 and check. They are usually all good but when I check about 100 rounds in it will be way over 25 grains. I have tried to keep filling the powder measure and ensuring that I'm pulling the handle the same. H335 is so thin and soft though that I think it just finds a way into the powder bar. H335 is almost like dust it's so small and fine ball powder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Anyone with the micrometer powder bar? Is it worth the cost or is the factory bar ok? With my N320 I don't have much variation but with my .223 loads and H335 I get huge variations. I try and load for 25.0 grains but get variations all the way up to 25.6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Now that makes sense. I was just thinking of things that come in contact with the slide and the slide stop was the first thing I came to mind. The magazine didn't pop in my head. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. My CZ's load the extremes pretty long but I just swapped to acme and have to load to 1.100. I was loading extremes 147 to 1.135. Also out of mine (Shadow, P01 and P09) the P09 hasn't the shortest throats for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. What does the slide stop look like? I wonder if that's what's hitting the slide. Maybe your grip is high and pushing up against it while your firing the gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. How many rounds do you think you have shot? I'll have to take mine apart and see what it looks like. I have shot probably 15-20k through it lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You can get a Gen II 4.5 x 27 under 2k. That's what I would buy in a heartbeat and actually that's what I did. I got mine for $1600 during the holidays Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. http://www.sgammo.com/product/speer/1000-round-case-9mm-luger-speer-lawman-147-grain-tmj-subsonic-ammo-53620 For new ammo I have ran this stuff a little bit and it shot well. You could always look into a company who sells reloads and buy a case at a time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I have been following this thread for a long time and still have not gotten a shotgun lol. MOA precision build stays on my mind though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Welcome from Wichita Falls. What part of this great state are you located? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I have a Shadow, P01 and a P09. I wonder how much and where to get them reamed to accept longer loads. Currently loading 147's at 1.100 without any issue though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I have only used WSP and they ignite in my shadow custom and CGW P01 just fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. If you don't mind how and where did you order your performance M2 from? I never knew benelli offered a LEO program or I would have bought one already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. lol I agree with you that it is rare to see an African American competing around me BUT all kinds of people shoot this sport. The USPSA crowd is usually one of the nicest crowds. Always willing to help out. Where are you located in TX? I am in Wichita Falls and have shot in a few areas of the state. Don't worry about it man. Just go to a match and ask questions. No one will judge you buy your skin color in this sport. On the lines of sterotypes keeping people away from the sport I have no idea. I have wondered a few times about why it's rare to see an AA at shooting events or at the local range. It's kind of like seeing a AA cowboy. Rare but does happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
