I have a shadow and just picked up my urban grey P09 today. I didn't get a chance to shoot it but I can tell you that the grip feels good in my hand with the Medium strap on. You will want to get some grip tape or stipple the grip though. I would also look into a guide rod and lower pound recoil spring. Mine has a plastic guide rod and a blue spring that's pretty damn heavy. The hammer spring is also really heavy and I'm going to a lighter one. Anyone know what the stock hammer spring is rated at? That's an awesome offer man. I shoot extreme 147's now and I cannot remember what exactly I loaded them at but I plunked all of my CZ barrels and used the shortest so they will run in all of them. Only thing that I don't like about gett a barrel reamed as when you start loading longer your limited in what pistols you can use your ammo in. I know it's not a necro post but bringing this topic back up. What are you guys running for recoil springs? I see that 15lb is what CGW sells but that still seems heavy to me? I am used to my shadow using an 11lb I guess. So what spring should I uses for minor loads (130 pf)? I also have a question about recoil spring for suppressed use. Problem with suppressor is the timer might not register the shots. I plan on running my CZ scorpion sbr suppressed just for fun though.

4-16 PST will get you 1k. I have the 6x24 and only use 12 power for 1k shots. All my experience shooting at 1k was upper torso steel and 12k was enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Compared to .308? Yes. I personally know a guy that has 25k through a custom built .308 and it's still well under MOA. A 6.5 CM won't last until 4K. Most guys are changing barrels at 2500-3000. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It wasn't exact but we were shooting at 1k. He is a PRS competitor but I have no idea what loads he was shooting. Being his rifle probably cost 6k plus before optics and he had multiple custom builds I assumed he knew what he was doing. Hell he could have been adjusting it in his head. The rifle class I attended had a guy shooting a 260. He was next to me and kept calling out my dope for me. They were almost identical. If you want barrel life and shoot under 1k majority of the time go with .308. If you want the cool factor and the new kid on the block go 6.5. Your barrel life and pocketbook will suffer. For one I think your MV is low on the 6.5 and I know my 1k dope is exactly 8 mils up from my zero. I know that's not really helpful but when you shoot next to .308 you see how different they are. The wind doesn't affect the 6.5 near as much as the .308. (That's why I was called a cheater at the rifle class I took) I was getting hits at 800 long before anyone else was with the .308. I do not have the same opinion. We are in a time where everyone is under the presumption of its not on video so I didn't happen. This is a trend that needs to be broken. The RO's word is good enough. No need in questioning all of them just because some shooter feels he didn't break a rule. I work in a very large business where I deal with people and we recently had to spend upwards of 4 million for video cameras. My job instantly went from what I said goes to we need to watch video. It's constantly becoming worse and worse. You can't even fart without proving it on film. People should not have to prove anything when they are placed into a position to call the shots. They are there because they have been through the training or school. Random people are not placed in these positions as they do not know what they are looking for. Alright off of the soap box.
