  1. I have this problem as well sometimes. I hate it because by the time I notice it it's raining brass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I also load 25 grains of 335 with 55 grain. It shot about a palm size group at 100 yards open sights. Was able to hit steel consistently at 300 with a red dot. It works for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I believe the 650 is the way to go. If your doing tons of bulk reloading with one caliber then 1050 would be awesome but a lot is involved. I have a 650 set up for 9mm and .223. I usually load in a couple hundred round sessions. I swap back and forth all the time without issue but I have invested in complete tool head set ups where it's easy. I also set a brass prep tool head up for rifle and run through a lot of brass at once. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Cost of mags is wild too. Like damn people gotta get a break somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have never shot the Sig but I would like too. I will tell you though every time I go to the range the scorpion gets shot. Also when people shoot it they absolutely want one haha. With the longer hand guard and suppressor it's so awesome to shoot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. How can you say this is ugly?!? The trigger was terrible stock but I am quite happy with the HBi trigger and spring kit. CZ Custom also sells a trigger that supposed to be one of the nicest triggers made but they are $$$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. From what I have researched the Sig recoils less and you can use AR triggers. With that being said I have an SBR'd and suppressed scorpion and have. I shot the Sig. The scorpion recoils more then I thought it would. It it's nothing to control it. I believe the huge bolt of the scorpion is the issue. The scorpion is my favorite gun to shoot though and it feels/sounds like a paintball gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Tbrci and strike industries are the only smaller comps I have seen I believe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It's not replacing it but it's in the price range of a lot more people then the Razor. Therefore it will probably be more popular. It's the middle of the road and it seems like that's where most people live (myself included). I have a custom bolt gun that I went all out on and it wears a 4.5X27 gen II but only reason I got that scope was the Stupid cheap price I got on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. 25 yard zero is what I use. I have ran steel out to 150 yards pretty easy with it. My CZ Scorpion is dead on at 25 and 100. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm guessing he hasn't upgraded his options yet. Email him and ask for a quote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have been thinking about this as well. The only thing I can think of is the rigidity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Get with Clearwater tactical. They just made me a double mag carrier that is a P09 mag in the front and a scorpion mag in the rear. I let them keep a scorpion mag to start making mag carriers. The quality is top notch and they pay attention to detail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Congrats man. I have a 650 that gets used pretty well. I have a question for the forum though. WHO is the go to person or shop for Dillion now? I bought mine from Brian when he was the man selling. Do we have another source that's as good as him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Using the Swage It is no more pressure on the shellplate then when priming cases. It does LC, WCC, and Every other case manufacture I have tried just fine. I have a Dillion Super Swage that will forever sit in its box. I'll try and take a video of the Swage It in use this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I should have clarified. I install the Swage It before I do anything else and then run the brass through the prep tool head. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. If your running a 650 then you should have two separate tool heads already. One for brass prep and one for loading. Here is how I load .223 on a 650. Station 1 Dillion re-sized Station 2 empty but Swage It installed Station 3 Dillion trimmer Station 4 empty Station 5 Lyman M Xpander You run the brass through the press once while cleaned and lubed. Clean brass to remove sizing lube. Remove the Swage It and install primer system. Run brass through the loading tool head. Station 1 empty Station 2 powder drop Station 3 powder check Station 4 seating die Station 5 crimp die. I have had no problems doing it this way with nothing but mixed brass. The cost of the Swage It is worth it if your loading in bulk. I load precision 6.5 creedmoor in 50-100 rounds at a time. That's enough of brass prep for me. If I can automate it anymore for .223 I would. I load 500 at a time at the minimum so quickest and easiest is what I go for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I feel that my 6.5 recoils MUCH less then a .308 BUT maybe muzzle brakes really tame the .308 down. I think the 6.5 is the way to go. You get factory ammo that's really good. Lapua brass is available Decent barrel life BUT your competing with just about everyone to find reloading components. That's a big drawback of the smaller calibers is they all run H4350 and that is like gold. I wish I would have bought truckloads before PRS blew up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That's just because Dillon didn't come up with the idea first. They need to make a version of it and stopped trying to block a company that has enhanced their product. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Dillion 650 makes easy work of brass prep. Brass prep tool head. Station 1: Dillon resizer/deprimer Station 2: empty Station 3: Dillon Trimmer Station 4: empty Station 5: Lyman M expander Then a Swage It mounted to the press and run the brass through once. Clean lube off of brass and then place loading tool head in. Station 1: empty Station 2: powder drop Station 3: powder check system Station 4: seating die Station 5: crimp die I load all of my .223 loads this way and I have dumbed it down and taken every step possible out I believe to make it the quietest and easiest. The Swage It 650 is a worthwhile investment. Swaying brass was the one step that took forever to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A lot of CZ's won't even let you load normal specs. I shoot 147's and have to load them way shorter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I don't have my 30 cal can yet. I am also at 8 months lol. It took about 7 months to get my pistol can but that was going faster. They have slowed down a bunch since my last can. I'm betting this can will take a full 12 months. It seems they are working on form 4's from the beginning of June 2016. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Ok since you admitted you have shot open I was going to warn you. The precision game is EXPENSIVE. Bullets, brass, cleaning supplies, tools, reloading gear, ETC. I swear company's who make precision stuff just love us. If you guys want any help on stuff just let me know. I haven't been doing this long but I researched for year and this is my second rifle. I can at least lean you in the right direction and save you some money by telling you the mistakes I made. Just like anything it's about spending the money up front and not cheating out will make your life easier in the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. They are both fine for long range but it depends on how much you are going to be shooting. The 6.5 CM has a a barrel life of 2500-3500 rounds and will most likely need replaced. The 6mm CM barrel life is going to me MUCH shorter. Probably 2000 rounds and need to be replaced. I don't know that for sure but I'm basing it my guess off of shooting a 6.5 CM and having a friend that shoots a 6x47. He has to replace barrels about 1500 rounds. Are you a reloader? What's your plan for the rifle? How far do you have access to shoot? What type of budget do you have for rifle AND optics? I have a custom 6.5 CM that I had built and I shoot it every week. So far it has been easy to load for and will shoot 5 shot groups under a dime pretty regular. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
