I hear everyone refer to the Stock II as having a 4.5" barrel and the Limited Pro having a 4.75". Also that's how it's listed in most US dealers/suppliers. But by going off the tanfoglio website, the Stock II has a 113mm (4.45") and the Limited Pro has a 125mm (4.92"). Can anyone with both guns verify? If at all possible give the sight radius of each (back of rear sight to back of front sight) so some of us can compare them to our current production guns sight radius's.

Why would he? Why wouldn't he? Because he's already shot the match and won it. His reason not to shoot the match again, is probably the same reason Cooley, Nils, Vogel, Blake, Sweeney Tomasie, Strader, JJ, Mink, McKenna, Leatham, Jarrett and MANY others aren't shooting it again.

Why would he?

When you post up videos and post pics of a guy and say "I think he is past it" and "I would have heard stop" your tainting a years (actually more like a careers) worth of work/accomplishment on a borderline call at best. And regardless, it doesn't matter. To say it's a fair question.....why? The scores are in, the trophies have been delivered. What can be gained, changed or learned? Let it go. Max is the World Champion and after looking at the picture and video, deserves to be it.

I've been drinking, so I'll try to say this as nicely as possible "get a "...." life" First, 180 follows the bay, not fault lines, so it's impossible to know where 180 is from a picture that doesn't show the whole picture. Second, the guns still in the holster, and his body looks to be still twisting. Third, ever RO ive heard talk about 180, usually say they have to know for sure. They're not looking send somebody home for 181.

Yes you are, because 4 years of dominance isn't wiped clean by one match.

Then how are there 26 male adult USA Open shooters (not juniors, senior or super senior)?
-
No, more of a logic comprehension problem. If you liked his guns and are friends with him......why not have him build it?DISCLAIMER- I'm not from the south. And we're a little slow up here. We'd have a "so called" friend build his own gun, instead of sending a friends gun pictures to another smith.
-
If he's your friend...why did you have someone else build a gun like his?

I think the AET is like an $80 dollar upgrade and that's for the TiN coating. I'll say this, if you are planning to keep the pistol for a long, long time and it's a heavy use pistol, I'd opt for the AET. You may not notice the increased accuracy, but you will on the life of the barrel. My 6" limited gun has 17K through it and the barrel/coating shows zero wear anywhere including where the bushing locks up. So somehow the type of rifling on the inside of the barrel, changes how it wears on the outside? Did you really just say that! They'll TiN coat any barrel you're willing to pay for, regardless of rifling. You could get a musket with no rifling done, if your heart desired.

Check out Leatherhead bullets on Facebook. If you want 180gr, they offer a round nose without a lube groove that feeds better than the standard TC profile. I've shot bayou's, bbi, sns and ibejiheads. They're coating is the most consistent.

They'll include as many mags as your willing to pay for.

Not trying to start a pissing match. I wouldn't waste the energy to extend my arm to shake bobby's hand. Just noticed the similarities; their names (gunworks thing), font/style/location of engraving on the slide, lightening cuts (all the guns on his website are like FGW), web design, build sheet design and even pictures on their web page. Just odd/interesting.
-
Is Brad friends with Bobby, or just have a man crush on him? It's not so much that the cocking serrations/lightening cuts are the same (although on this gun he reversed them) or the name and how and where he machines it into the slide, but if you go to his webite, his web page is set up the same way and his build sheets are the same too. ***** nevermind, there must be a connection, they even use the same front site cut picture on their sites

And you'd be wrong**** In fact, if he would have zeroed any one stage, he would have lost the National Championship.

Versa Max Tactical or Beretta 1301 Comp?
jrbet83 replied to hceuterpe's topic in Shotgun - Technical
Beretta owns Benelli, Franchi, Steoger, Tikka, Sako, Uberti, Burris and Steiner........they'll do just fine. -
It's a sign that people are smart, and don't want to spend custom gun price for non custom gun.

How much does your 6" .40 slide weigh?

Your guess would be as good as mine. I'd guess......11.2-11.4. -

13.05oz with sights, extractor, firing pin and stop. -
It was written that way in stage discribtion. How did it get through approval with USPSA and NROI?
-
What help were you asking for? There wasn't one question in your original post. What there was, was someone bad mouthing one of the best and most loyal sponsors of USPSA, even though it was presumably their fault. Oh, and FYI, a piece of gear breaking.....isn't a fiasco, especially when I can all but guarantee they'll make the situation right, regardless of who's fault it was.
