  1. +1 on the Inline Fab Ergo handle IF your press is mounted too low to stand fully upright at the bottom of the stroke. +1 on the spent primer attachment IF you don't want spent primers all over your floor, house, car, etc. They would get stuck in my shoes and I had them everywhere before I got the attachment.
  2. I had a machinist friend make the truncated cone side of my Dillon seating stem perfectly match the profile of my BBI Bullets. Made seating MUCH nicer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Take water and make yourself drink it. Take food and make yourself eat it. The first several large matches I attended I would run out of gas and my performance would show it on the last 3 or 4 stages. Otherwise, make a plan, rehearse the plan for each stage, and shoot within your ability. Try your best to just treat it like a bigger, nicer club match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The 1050 is considered a commercial press, so 1 year warranty. I own a 1050 and (knock on wood) haven't needed any warranty work but it's been frequently discussed by those recreational users that HAVE needed warranty outside of their first year that Dillon took care of them. 5. I'm not ambidextrous but I'd guess that picking the hand that feels best and training yourself to work around it will be faster than continuing to switch regularly. I'm interested to see what others have done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Www.Brownells.com can fix you up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My $.02, in the photo above your support hand is not high enough. If you HAD a thumb rest and were shooting at speed with that grip and and a thumb rest you'd be pushing the muzzle all over the place making it even harder to track your front sight. I tend to be in the crutch camp, fix your grip and exercise your thumb so that it doesn't need to rest so much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Winter months 4-8, summer months 6-10 plus majors. There are 2 weekly indoor matches within 45 minutes of my house and 8 outdoor matches/month within 2 hours in the summer months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I've used the compression gear, and it's good, but I ordered some compression sleeves off of amazon for around $15 that only cover your arms so your core can breathe better. I found that the full compression gear made my arms cooler but core seemed to retain heat under a jersey. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. When you replaced the firing pin did you verify that you had the correct size? There is a difference in diameter between 45 and 9/38 pins. Could've gotten the wrong size in the correct package? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm a WST user under BBI as well. The WST is a carryover from my days of running the Precision moly coated bullets. WST seemed to be the least smoky option that I tried. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. ...and, as you stated, not ideal for dry-fire thumb cocking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Good looks and low mass for faster lock time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Shooting iron sights and 200gr 40 major I sight at 10 yds which is still dead on (within a couple of inches) at 25 and easily in the A-zone at 50. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I have 2 limited guns built by the same well known custom builder. The slide internals on the lightened slide pistol with a tungsten guide rod, fluted barrel, spring and plug, weigh exactly the same as the steel rod, ST barrel, spring and plug in the sight tracker. The slides weigh the same as well. The sight tracker shoots noticeably flatter than the lightened model I guess due to the weight distribution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. What caliber is the 1911? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I purchased the standard 40 before the L and XL were available. Since I was loading coated Bullets to 1.200" it was basically worthless to me. I used a Y-bit (0.404 diameter) in a drill press and opened all 100 holes up so that my rounds would drop in. Works for me but obviously the XL would be a far less risky and laborious route. They are a great time saver! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Firing pin hanging up and impeding the next round sliding up the breach face?
  19. I run the Racemaster but have several buddies that run Racers. Durability seems pretty equal. I guess style and some adjustability are what you're paying for?
  20. Dawson are far more durable than the TTI in my experience.
  21. I run the aluminum. Several of my buddies run the plastic. If you don't think you need the extra range of motion I think the plastic ones are just as durable.
  22. One piece of advice, steel targets are heavy and expensive to ship...Unless you buy them via Amazon Prime, then you get free 2nd day air shipping. BIG savings when making a purchase like this.
  23. Beven is a wealth of knowledge and easy to contact by phone.
