  1. Im in the process of fitting an infinity stainles steel grip to an STI EXECUTIVE. I notice now when I slide the MSH up it engages the hammer strut before it's fully in place. Strut is in cup. Seems to put a lot of pressure on the hammer making trigger pull crazy hard. Is it normal to have to fit a strut? Any help would be appreciated. Also I'm using the infinity ignition kit (infinity hammer, sear, disconnect, and 3 finger).
  2. I fit an infinity trigger into my CK arms open pistol. With the slide off it works perfect. Nice loose trigger, no touch points. Hammer falls everytime and everything is great. The issue is when I put the slide back on. Once you rack the slide the hammer won't fall and you have manually release the sear. Is this a dimensional difference in the trigger bow from a CK arms to an infinity? Or is this a situation where I need to remove a little material from the tip of the disconnector to make sure it is as free as possible? Any suggestions would be great.
  3. Got my CK 9mm major open gun, so the fun is begining. I have my Infinity med flat trigger insert and bow on the way. I had to modify my sti polymer grip quite a bit to fit it properly. This pistol is a steel grip. Has anyone fit this trigger into a CK metal frame? If so, how much filing did it take?
  4. I recently acquired an STI Edge. The factory safety is so narrow that when coupled with my small hands I have to change my grip to de-activate and leaving my thumb on the safety is very difficult as well. I looked at Ed Brown and it is .250" wide, Infinity Wide (not extra wide as that is for RH folks) ambi safety is .300". I have no idea about Double Tap as I could not find measurements at their site or anywhere else that sells their safeties. So, Infinity Wide seems to be the ticket unless someone can point me elsewhere that has an even wider safety. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
  5. What is the idea behind the Infinity QB Hammer shape? Seems like it would cause trouble during dry fire practice.
  6. *Sorry guys, I mistitled the topic. I'm seeing if my existing DAA Race Master will lock properly with the SV EXTENDED trigger guard, not enhanced. For you guys that may have the EXTENDED trigger guard on their SVI's, which holster do you run for limited? I currently have an old ghost and a daa race master for the 2011. I'm not sure if the geometry of the EXTENDED trigger guard will work. Let me know what you guys are running. I was told to check out a safariland 014 open class holster. thanks!
  7. I want to install an Infinity trigger with different length trigger inserts in my STI Edge .40 S&W. Main reason for the Infinity trigger is to use the long flat trigger insert because I have long fingers. My fingers are too long for the standard plastic trigger that came with my Edge. Have to admit that I also like the look of the Infinity triggers. What is the procedure for widening the trigger area on an Edge's grip? I haven't removed the trigger from my Edge yet, but it looks like the trigger rides in a polymer channel. What's the best way to widen this channel to fit the Infinity trigger? It seems like a more delicate job than just filing it out with a metal file. How much wider is the Infinity trigger? It couldn't be too much wider than the original STI trigger because the trigger guard isn't much wider than the trigger itself. I've searched for articles on this installation, but haven't found any that explain the operation. Any thoughts, ideas, or links would help.
